Student answer (Band 5.0)
Wild animals living in the zoo or to the jungle is one of the many topic these days due to habits of those animals, some of the NGOs are against of keeping wild animals into the zoo, it is same as we are put some one in the jail without any crime and some people are in faver of keeping them in the zoo for entertainment and educational purpos, both are having valid points to discous.
Animals like Lion, Rieno, Tigers and manyother living in wild environment like jungle need big spacese to live and keeping them in zoos are like a torture to them, same like to we put some man in the small room and feed you good food daily and act like you are very happy, but actually you are not happy, you will feel bad as same like those animals, so keeping animals in zoos are not justify from any reasones, as per NGOs who work in this cause.
At the other side some animals are feel safe and getting good food without any strugle in zoos are more happier than in jungle, and at the same time people entertain with them and learn about them, many of the school tirps arranged to the zoos for learning prupos, which is good however there shoould be some boundares how to treet animals in the zoo.
As we can obsourved that some animals get sick due to over feeding or trash feeding.
As per my experience school tirps arranged to the zoos for learning prupos is very good entertainment surce and with proper arrangment we have to continue zoo culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the debate by presenting reasons against keeping animals in zoos, such as restricted space and the comparison with imprisonment, and reasons in favour, including safety, food, education and school visits. Your final sentence also makes your own preference for continuing zoos with proper arrangements reasonably clear. However, the position is not consistently stated: the opening mainly reports opposing views, and the conclusion does not explain what “proper arrangement” would involve. Several points are asserted rather than developed—for example, the claim that some animals are happier in zoos is not supported or reconciled with the earlier argument about suffering. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly from the introduction and explain specific conditions or evidence supporting it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, arguments against zoos, arguments in favour, and a brief concluding view. This gives the reader some sense of organisation, and phrases such as “At the other side” and “As per my experience” signal changes in focus. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The final paragraph repeats the point about school trips rather than drawing the arguments together, while the sentence about animals becoming sick appears abruptly and is not linked to the preceding discussion. Some linking phrases are also used mechanically or inaccurately. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, connect examples directly to that claim, and use the conclusion to summarise your position rather than introduce or repeat a point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “wild environment,” “entertainment,” “educational,” and “over feeding,” and you use comparisons to communicate your ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “Rieno,” “manyother,” “faver,” “discous,” and “tirps.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “trash feeding,” “zoo culture,” and “not justify.” These issues sometimes obscure your intended meaning, even though the general topic remains understandable. Build a more accurate set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully. For instance, distinguish “wildlife” from “animals,” and use precise terms for animal welfare, habitat and conservation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both longer sentences and simpler statements, but the longer structures are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors in sentence formation and agreement. For example, “Animals like Lion, Rieno, Tigers and manyother living in wild environment” lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “some animals are feel safe” combines incompatible verb forms. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals and prepositions, as in “in the zoo,” “to the jungle,” and “keeping animals in zoos are.” The opening sentence runs several ideas together, with punctuation that does not clearly separate them. Use shorter, complete sentences first, checking that each has a subject and correctly formed verb; then practise joining ideas with accurate clauses and punctuation.
