Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a position—“I partally agree”—and discuss both the educational value of zoos and concerns about animal welfare, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the position is not sustained clearly: the conclusion says zoos “should have to closed,” which sounds like full agreement rather than partial agreement. Several points are also limited or unclear. For example, the ticket-cost point does not explain why zoos should remain open, and the Ahmedabad example describes a zoo without showing how it supports your argument. Develop two or three reasons more fully, explain how each supports your position, and make your final view consistent with the introduction.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. “To begin with” and “On the other hand” help signal the broad structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are joined without clear logical links. The discussion moves from ticket prices to animal variety and then to a particular zoo, without explaining the connection. Linking phrases such as “Owing to” and “As a result of” are used inaccurately, and repeated “For instance” examples do not always clearly support the point. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain it and give a directly relevant example; use referencing and connectors only where their relationship is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “predators,” “habitat,” “detrimental,” and “wild animals,” and these choices show an effort to discuss education and animal welfare. However, the usable range is limited, and frequent spelling, word-form, and collocation problems sometimes make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “partally,” “governemts,” “visite,” “perfer,” and “jungal”; phrases such as “detrimental role with animal” and “complete relax” are also unnatural. Build a reliable set of expressions for captivity, conservation, education, and animal welfare, and check spelling and collocations. More precise wording would help distinguish your arguments rather than relying on general phrases such as “beautiful and fantastic.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, including “they also lose their habitat place were they live.” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty; errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to understand. Examples include “majority many urban area have zoo,” “the beneficial,” and “the animal will not complete relax.” There are recurring problems with articles, plural forms, subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries. For example, “government should have to closed the zoo” needs a correctly formed verb construction. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time, checking tense, agreement, and punctuation.
