Student answer (Band 5.0)
Well, in my opinion, and I discussed an important topic we no longer need to have animals kept in zoos, so zoos should be closed. It has been observed that, animals and i love animals so, in my opinion, no longer need to have animals kept in zoos, because animals not a entertainment for humans. Although some people believe that animals just a fun and entertainment for zoos, this is very bad think.
The foremost argument to jusity my stand is that animals is very important role play over all the world and very sensitive wildlife, But nowadays, i can see that many of the zoos build over all the world and different cities just for fun and i am very sad this situation. Animals is very soft corner living creature but people thing animals is a bad and dangerous think. Many zoos onwer capture animals and bring them to zoo to disply them to the public and in this situation many of the animals diseases in zoo and death.
Furthermore, the other reason to prove my point some people's like and loved the animals but on the other hand some people's dislike animals anytime, but the people liked animals is very sad this situation and say that government to closed they evry zoos and saved animals life. Because aniamls is most effective and signifinat creature. If this trand continues, the population of wild life animals will decline dramatically, so government provied focus for aniamls life and closed all the zoos.
In conclusion the discussion, it can be said that despite the fact of animals life and society, my reason that no longer need to have animals kept in zoos, so zoos should be closed are logically acceptable.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear general view that zoos should close, and you give relevant concerns about animals being treated as entertainment and suffering illness or death in captivity. However, the response only partially develops the task: the reasons are repeated rather than explained, and the claim that some people dislike animals does not clearly support closing zoos. The discussion also does not consider why others might support zoos, such as conservation or education, or explain why those benefits are insufficient. The conclusion restates your position but adds no final reasoning. To strengthen the response, develop two distinct arguments with specific explanations or examples, and keep each point directly connected to whether zoos should remain open.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can recognise a basic essay structure. You also use signposts such as “The foremost argument,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion.” However, there is no clear progression within the argument: ideas about animal sensitivity, public attitudes, disease and population decline are placed together without showing how one leads to the next. Connectors such as “but” and “because” are sometimes used in ways that do not clarify the relationship between ideas, and “in my opinion” is repeated. Use one main point per paragraph, then explain and illustrate it; clearer referencing and more purposeful transitions would make the organisation easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “wildlife,” “capture,” “public” and “population,” and you try to express concern about animal welfare. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or repetitive choices make parts difficult to understand. Phrases such as “very soft corner living creature,” “bad think” and “animals is most effective and signifinat creature” do not communicate your intended meaning clearly. Spelling errors, including “jusity,” “onwer” and “disply,” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for animal welfare and zoo functions, and check spelling and collocations. For example, describe animals as “sentient creatures” and say they may “suffer from illness in captivity.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences using “although,” “because” and “if,” but control is weak, and many sentences contain errors that make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “animals not a entertainment for humans,” “animals is very important role play” and “government provied focus for aniamls life.” These show problems with sentence formation, missing verbs or articles, subject–verb agreement and verb forms. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “But” after a comma and the repeated lower-case “i.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one subordinate clause. Check that each sentence has a subject and a correctly formed verb, and review agreement and articles before submitting.
