Student answer (Band 5.5)

In many countries zoon is an essencial place for tourist as we saw different types of spices over there. Some people argue that now we dont need zoos and we should remove it from all over the country. I strongly partially agree with the statement as we should free animals from cages but its also importan for khowledge.

To begin, as we khow in zoo we have different variety of animals which we can see and get know about it. There is some peoples which think that we dont need zoos nowadays and we should close it. Because in a zoos we kept all animals under walls and cages which can bad for animals life as they live in open jungles. For example there are many animals which become sick or even dead in cages because in cages they dont get the feelings of open jungles where are live there life. In a result we loss many animals in zoos and it also incline the rate of extint.

Following that, if we look to the purpose and value of zoos so keeping zoos is also important. Because in zoos we dont only see animals we also learn about there life about there behavior which is a possitive point for learners. Also its important for a country economy as on daily basis hunderds of tourist visit which pay money for tickets etc.

In the conclution, removing zoos can be a positive deveplment but i think the we should keep them and we should moniter them and care them in a way to give them same jungle feeling.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the question and give reasons on both sides: animal welfare is a concern, while education and tourism are presented as benefits. Your final view is that zoos should remain open if they are monitored and animals are cared for, but the opening phrase “strongly partially agree” makes your position difficult to interpret and conflicts with that conclusion. The welfare argument is relevant, yet claims that animals become sick or die in cages and that zoos increase extinction are not explained or supported clearly. The benefits are also briefly stated rather than developed. State your position consistently from the introduction, then explain how well-managed zoos could protect animals and support education, using a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different considerations, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph begins by describing what visitors learn, then shifts to arguments for closing zoos. Connect each point more directly to the paragraph’s main purpose. Linking phrases such as “To begin,” “Following that,” and “In the conclusion” help signal stages, but some connections are mechanical or inaccurate, as in “In a result.” References such as “it” and “there” are also unclear in places. Use topic sentences and clearer references to make the relationships between claims easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “cages,” “animals,” “behavior,” “tourist,” and “economy,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “animals,” “zoos,” and “cages.” Frequent spelling errors, including “essencial,” “extint,” and “conclution,” make the writing less clear and reduce accuracy. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “different variety of animals,” “get the feelings of open jungles,” and “incline the rate of extinction.” Build a more precise set of topic expressions and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “a range of species,” “experience a natural habitat,” and “contribute to extinction” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “Because” and a relative clause in “animals which become sick.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “in a zoos,” “we kept all animals,” “which can bad for animals life,” and “we should moniter them and care them.” The opening sentence also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise accurate basic patterns first, then extend them with clauses: for example, “Animals kept in cages may become ill because they cannot behave as they would in a natural habitat.” Check articles, plural forms, and verb agreement when editing.
