Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people think that zoo is outdated now and cruel to animals, because of that zoo need to shut down. I am completely disagree with this while, concerns about animals i believe that zoo need to be closed. My preferenceis aruged further in the following paragraphs.
Out of all the arugments, the foremost one to support my statement is that there are plnety of species which is exist because of zoo or else they will dead till now. Without zoo, animal could not able live such as a panda. For example, if there is no zoo then animals are not safe from preditos and cause of zoo they are living still. As a result, zoo still need to open and safe rare species there under supervision.
Furthermore, another point worth considering is that if there is zoo then people came to see different animals and species there. By visiting there, they will get to know many things which they doest not know till now. They will get knowledge and information about animals by visiting zoo. Therefore, there is need to have zoo everywhere possible.
Neverthless, there are others who advocate that zoo need to be shut down because it is very harmful to animals. The main reason of this statement is that visitors come and tease animals and irritate them which is not good for anyonwe who come there. It is very vital to behave there and treat animals in good way possible.
To conclude, closing zoo is not an solution, just upgrade to modern style and change few thnigs about safari then it will turnout in better way. If changing things improve condition then there is no need to shut down the zoo.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant response and your final position is that zoos should remain open but be improved. The points about protecting rare species and educating visitors address useful reasons, while the paragraph on visitors disturbing animals acknowledges the opposing view. However, your position is initially confusing: “I am completely disagree with this while… I believe that zoo need to be closed” appears to support closure, contradicting the rest of the essay. The examples are also broad and not fully explained; the claim that pandas survive because of zoos, for instance, needs a clearer explanation of how zoos protect or breed endangered animals. Develop each reason with a specific example and state your position consistently from the introduction onward.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate supporting paragraphs, a counterargument and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally focus on one main idea, and signposts such as “Furthermore” and “To conclude” help readers follow the basic direction. However, progression is weakened by the contradictory position in the introduction and by links that do not clearly show how one idea follows another. Phrases such as “Out of all the arguments” and “Therefore, there is need to have zoo everywhere possible” feel formulaic, and the second supporting paragraph repeats the idea of gaining knowledge without extending it. Use clearer topic sentences, connect examples directly to claims, and make the conclusion follow consistently from the position established at the start.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “species,” “rare species,” “supervision,” “visitors,” and “harmful to animals,” so the main subject is usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make the writing awkward or occasionally unclear. For example, “preditos” appears to mean “predators,” “tease animals” is not the most suitable way to describe mistreatment, and “upgrade to modern style” is vague. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “arugments,” “plnety,” and “Neverthless.” Build a more precise set of phrases for conservation, animal welfare and education, and check spelling and collocations carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if there is no zoo then animals are not safe” and a concession beginning “Neverthless, there are others who advocate…”. However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. Examples include “I am completely disagree,” “there are plnety of species which is exist,” and “people came to see different animals,” where verb forms, agreement or sentence construction are faulty. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “zoo need to shut down” and “closing zoo is not an solution.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence. Aim first for clear, correct sentences before adding more complex structures.
