Student answer (Band 4.5)
yeah you are right if we no longer need to have animal in zoo the zoo will kept close .
Basically the animal are too much important for zoo beacuse it is an apart of refreshment for childrens as well as for young peoples.
For example some people are like Lions in Zoo , Tigers, sheeps etc.
Animal are the intresting part of zoo i am agree with your passage if we havnt animal in zoo so they havnt any benefits to our society and the zoo will be close very soon.
So acording my point of view keeping animal in zoo are very important in our province but those animal whos are loyal smart and loving not to bite people.
Also we can earn money on this if some one visit to zoo he or she must will buy tickets for childers so we can earn money it is an benefits for zoo managing society.
acording to my experince last time i visited to peshawar zoo so i got one ticket for my self as i enter to the area first i saw elephant who was in happy mood and was eating watermelon. so first time i saw and elephant in my life. After elephant i moved to another animal it was tiger and the tiger was on smileing mood and as happy because the servant of tiger was in love with his animal and just was reponsible for his animal
so i am agree with your idea if we havnt animal in zoo so the zoo should close soon.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a recognisable position: you support keeping zoos open, mainly because animals attract visitors and ticket sales can benefit zoo management. The Peshawar Zoo visit also provides a relevant personal example. However, the response only partially addresses the central question of whether zoos are still needed: it largely repeats that animals make zoos interesting, without explaining their wider value or considering why people might argue for closure. The point about keeping only animals that are “loyal, smart and loving” is unclear and does not establish a convincing principle. Develop two clear reasons, such as conservation or education, and explain how each supports your position with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic sequence from your opinion, to reasons, to a personal visit, and then a concluding statement. Some linking expressions, including “For example,” “Also,” and “so,” help show connections. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the response does not build a sustained line of argument. Several points repeat the same claim that animals make zoos worthwhile, while the visit anecdote moves from an elephant to a tiger without clearly linking the details to your argument. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each supporting reason, and the conclusion. Make links explicit—for instance, explain how seeing animals can educate visitors—rather than relying repeatedly on “so.”
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “society,” “tickets,” “managing society,” and “visited,” and the reader can generally identify your main topic. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “animal,” “zoo,” and “important.” Some choices are imprecise or unnatural, such as “an apart of refreshment,” “on smileing mood,” and “servant of tiger,” which make parts of the account difficult to interpret. Spelling errors such as “beacuse,” “intresting,” and “experince” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of terms for discussing zoos, animal welfare, conservation, and visitors, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “if we havnt animal in zoo so they havnt any benefits to our society,” but these attempts are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur frequently: “the animal are,” “the zoo will kept close,” and “keeping animal in zoo are.” Articles and plurals are also often missing or incorrect, as in “in zoo” and “for childers.” These patterns sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Most sentences use simple structures, with limited accurate control of more complex forms. Practise reliable sentence patterns such as “If zoos no longer kept animals, they would…” and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and plural nouns.
