Student answer (Band 5.5)

In recent years keeping wild animals seprate from nature in zoos is unnecssary, so zoos have to be closed. I completly agree with this view. However, animals have right to live freely on there own, although closed zooes land can be used to build infrastructure like schools, hospitials and wildlife sancturies etc.

Firstly, every creature on earth has right to live freely. Nature has their own princpal that human should have to follow them. Furthermore, no one have right to control anyones life, keeping wild animals away from their habitate is considered as an annimal abuse. On one hand for us zoos is place where we can see various kinds of animals in one place, on the other hand if we can see from animals perpective they feel like a jail. However, in some zoos animals get abuse by certain people who visited or who work in zoos.

Secondly, rather than construct a zoo we can focuse to build different infurastucter that helps to improve in serevals sectors like health, financal, industrial and more. Zoos are build over large land that can be use as agriculture. Morever, lots of people get employed, our economic condition were improved. However, the best altranitive for zoos is to build a wildlife sancutaries that play role in education as well as helps endangouries spicies of wild animals by taking care and giving protection,

In conclusion, keep wild animals seprate from their habitate in zoos is unnecssary, so rather than open zoos goverment should focuse to build wild life sanctuaries that helps certain people to learn more about wild animales also to protect various of spices of wild animals that tend to be end.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: “I completely agree,” and the conclusion maintains the view that zoos should be replaced by wildlife sanctuaries. You address the main issue with relevant reasons, including animals’ freedom and the possible use of zoo land for other purposes. The contrast between visitors’ experience and animals’ experience also supports your argument. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: for example, the claim that zoo land could improve health, finance and industry is not connected clearly to why zoos should close. The discussion of sanctuaries is relevant but would benefit from a specific example and a fuller explanation of how they protect animals while educating people. Developing these ideas more evenly would make the response more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “Firstly” and “Secondly” signal the main points, and the conclusion returns to your position. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are placed together without clear links. In the first body paragraph, the discussion moves from animals’ rights to human control, then to visitors’ views and abuse; clearer sequencing would help show how each point supports the argument. “However” is also used where the relationship between ideas is not always a contrast. Some references, such as “them” in “human should have to follow them,” are unclear. Use linking phrases selectively and make the connection between each reason and your position explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “wildlife sanctuaries,” “infrastructure,” “habitat,” and “endangered species,” and you communicate the central ideas despite some imprecise choices. However, spelling errors are frequent, including “seprate,” “unnecssary,” “hospitials,” and “altranitive,” which can distract the reader. Some word combinations are also unnatural or unclear: “animals get abuse” and “build a wildlife sanctuaries” do not express the intended meaning accurately. The range is sufficient to discuss the topic, but repeated general terms such as “build” and “helps” limit precision. Check spelling carefully and learn common topic collocations so that your vocabulary conveys ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “although,” “if,” and “that.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors in agreement, articles, plurals and sentence construction occur often enough to make parts of the argument harder to read. Examples include “every creature … has right,” “no one have right,” and “Zoos are build over large land.” The sentence beginning “Nature has their own principal that human should have to follow them” also has unclear grammatical relationships between its clauses. Review subject–verb agreement, article use and verb forms, and practise building complex sentences with one clear main clause. More accurate control of these patterns would make your meaning easier to follow.
