Student answer (Band 5.0)
Almost in all countries, there are zoos to etertain people and specially children by showing varieties of animals to them. These animals are caught from forests and locked in the cages of zoos.
Everyone have right to live freely, I am not talking about only human beings I am talking about all the living organisms of the Earth. So, animals have right live in forests which are there actually homes. In past we caught some animals and locked them in cages of zoos to show these animals to people and to add experience to them of seeing varaity of animals. But now its a time of internet and eveyone thing is available on internet. So many people search these animals on youtube or on any othe informative app.
I agree with that statement, we no longer need to have animals kept in zoos, so zoos shouls be closed. I already gives reasons for his statement in previous passage.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
Your position is clear: you agree that zoos should close, and you give two relevant reasons—animals should live in their natural habitats, and people can now learn about them online. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these points are asserted rather than explained or supported with examples. The claim that internet access makes zoos unnecessary, for instance, does not consider whether zoos also protect endangered species or educate visitors. The conclusion merely repeats your position and refers back to reasons without developing them. The response is 146 words, which is 104 words below the 250-word minimum; the 12 words copied from the prompt are excluded. Develop each reason and include a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: the opening introduces zoos, the next paragraph gives reasons, and the final paragraph states your position. Simple linking expressions such as “So” and “But now” help show relationships between ideas. However, the overall progression is limited: the position appears only near the end, and the final paragraph repeats the argument rather than drawing the points together. The second paragraph also combines several ideas without clear internal development, while “I already gives reasons for his statement in previous passage” is an unclear reference. State your position in the introduction, give each main reason its own developed paragraph, and use clear references and transitions to guide the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic vocabulary, including “animals,” “forests,” “cages,” and “internet,” which makes the general subject understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive and some word choices or spellings make the writing less clear or natural. For example, “varieties of animals” and “variety of animals” repeat the same idea, while “informative app” is vague in this context. There are also noticeable spelling errors such as “etertain,” “varaity,” “eveyone,” and “shouls.” Aim for more precise topic language and check spelling carefully. Phrases such as “wildlife conservation,” “natural habitats,” and “educational resources” would help you express your reasons more specifically.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate mainly through simple sentences and attempt some longer structures, such as “In past we caught some animals and locked them in cages of zoos to show these animals to people.” However, grammatical errors occur frequently and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “Everyone have right to live freely,” which has an agreement error and missing articles, and “animals have right live in forests,” which needs a grammatical structure after “right.” The final sentence, “I already gives reasons for his statement,” also has incorrect subject–verb agreement and unclear pronoun reference. Practise accurate sentence patterns, especially articles, agreement, verb forms, and infinitives, before trying to make sentences longer.
