Student answer (Band 5.0)

According, to the satement we no longer need to have animals kept in zoos, so zoos should be closed.

To began with, zoos played an significant role in the economic groth of country. In my point of view, if the animals should kept in zoos they will be lost their freedoms. They cannot live in natural habitat. Moreover, they cannot experience the forest life and never enjoy the natural envirments. They also lived the helpless life in zoos. Small cages also badly affected on their healths. In addition, many animals dont want to leave their famlies alone in jungle as a result they get into the depression. Therefore, zoos should be closed for animals health and their freedom.

On the other hand, zoos are very important for the health care of animals. Zoos are necessary for animals to provide them better food and health treatments.Zoos are also source of entertainment and enjoyment for people because many people visit zoos and learn about wild lifes. They protected the animals in any dangerous condition. In many countries zoos are decorated with beautiful materials for animals. In this way they attracted the highest number of peopk

In conclusion, zoos are played a vital role for animals and country economic groth. The goveronment should granted the special budget for zoos decorations and revolation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address the topic by presenting concerns about animals’ freedom and health, then acknowledging zoos’ roles in care and public education. However, your position is not consistently clear: you first conclude that zoos should close, but later say they play a vital role and recommend government funding for their decoration and development. The reasons are also brief and largely asserted rather than explained; for example, the claim that animals become depressed when separated from families needs clarification or a relevant example. The response contains 199 words, so it is 51 words below the required minimum; the 15 words copied from the prompt are excluded. Develop a consistent position and explain each main reason with specific support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

Your response has a recognisable structure: an opening, two contrasting body sections signalled by “To began with” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of how your ideas relate. However, progression is limited because points within paragraphs are mostly listed rather than developed, and the final paragraph does not resolve the disagreement between closing zoos and funding them. Some links are also unclear or mechanical, such as “In this way” after the point about decorations. Use each paragraph to develop one central idea, connect its explanation and example clearly, and make the conclusion restate the same position established in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “natural habitat,” “health treatments,” “freedom,” and “entertainment,” which helps communicate the main subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to interpret, such as “they lived the helpless life,” “healths,” and “decorated with beautiful materials for animals.” Spelling errors, including “groth,” “envirments,” and “famlies,” also reduce clarity. Aim for precise phrases that express the intended point—for instance, describe animals as “living in captivity” or say that zoos “provide veterinary care.” Proofread spelling and check whether each word fits naturally with the words around it.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with linking clauses, as in “In addition, many animals dont want to leave their famlies alone in jungle as a result they get into the depression.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range remains limited and errors are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “if the animals should kept,” “they will be lost their freedoms,” and “The goveronment should granted,” where verb forms and sentence patterns are not controlled. Articles, agreement, and punctuation also need attention, as in “an significant role” and the missing comma or full stop around joined clauses. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns before adding longer clauses.
