Student answer (Band 5.0)
We no longer need zoos that the animals have kept here, so zoos should be closed, and the animals should be released.
I am agree with this sentence, Becuase if the animals have kept in zoos, for lettle entertainment and for business mind set,it is a big mistake and unfair for animals. We play with his life and make them our sleves, remined the animals have own needs and rights on the humans. it is playing very important role in the enviroment, for example, according to the scientist the snacks absorveb the danger gas the night, which is dangreous for humans. Similar, other animals play impotrant and assential roll in the enviroment, if could kept them in the zoos, so they should not perform their roll in the enviroment.
So zoos should be closed, If we will closed the zoos and released them, first of all we will provieded his rights to animals. Aslo the animals not usesing for human profits, and fo to their homes and get their rights. while we don not closed the zoos, the people heart them form many sides, like from the meet which provied by humans, not fresh and not according to thier want. So the zoos needs to closed.
Overall, we experienced that the best way for animals right and their protection to closed the zoos. becuse the not live for our entertainmnet and for our business, but it live for thier famly. So lastly i want to say that to making zoos is just a part of business not a part of enviroment protection, if we need to protect the enviroment, so zoos should be closed.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that zoos should close, and you give reasons related to animal rights, entertainment and business, and animals’ role in the environment. These points are relevant to the question, and the example about animals absorbing dangerous gases shows an attempt to support your argument. However, the ideas are only partly developed. The environmental example is difficult to follow, and the claim that animals should be released does not consider whether they could survive or what might happen to animals bred in captivity. The response also repeats the conclusion rather than extending the reasoning. Explain each main reason more clearly and add a specific, relevant example or acknowledge a possible counterargument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable structure: an opening position, supporting paragraphs, and a concluding statement. This gives the reader a basic sense of how your answer is organised. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. For example, the discussion moves from animal rights to environmental gases and then to food provided by humans without explaining the links between these points. Connectors such as “So,” “Also,” and “Overall” are repeated or used where the relationship between ideas needs more explanation. Some references, including “it” and “their,” are also unclear. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then use clear linking sentences to show how the examples support that reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “rights,” “entertainment,” “environment,” and “protection,” and you try to express ideas about captivity and human profit. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “snacks” where you appear to mean “snakes,” “meet” for “meat,” and “make them our selves” for an unclear idea about treating animals as possessions. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “business mind set” and “perform their roll.” Build a small set of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully so your intended meaning is clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some longer sentence forms to explain reasons, including clauses beginning with “if” and “because,” and you attempt to connect ideas within sentences. However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction and verb forms often make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “I am agree” should be “I agree,” while “if we will closed the zoos” needs a correctly formed conditional, such as “if we close the zoos.” There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “the animals not usesing” and the run-on opening of the second paragraph. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using correctly formed clauses and consistent punctuation.
