The table below shows the change in some household types in Great Britain from 1971 to 2007.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table chart illustrates the development in seven household types in Great Britain between 1971 and 2007.
Overall, the percentages of categories for one person, no children, and lone parent increased over the given period, whereas those for dependent children and non-dependent children decreased. In addition, in terms of the categories for one-family households and couple, they did not have any record on the table.
On the one hand, the proportion of "one person" started at 6% in 1971, going up steadily to 12% in 2007. Following this pattern, the percentage of "no children" rose from 19% at the begining to 25% at the end. When it comes to the percentage of "lone parent，” it began at 4% in 1971, which was the lowest point throughout the record, and ended at 12% in 2007.
On the other hand, the share of "dependent children" was 52% in 1971, which was highest figure on the table, yet it declined dramatically to 36% in 2007. "Non-dependent children" experienced the slightest decline as compared to others, going down from 10% to 9%, despite the increase happened in 1991.
