Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have successfully identified the main features of the data and provided a clear overview. You included relevant comparisons, such as noting the decline in dependent children and the rise in one-person households. However, the response lacks precision in data reporting. For instance, stating 'no children began with 19%' is unclear, as the category is 'households with no children'. Additionally, the term 'caliberated in percentile' is inaccurate as the data is in percentages. To improve, ensure you clearly label the categories and use more precise language when describing trends. While the main features are covered, the lack of clarity in some descriptions prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the information. You use some cohesive devices like 'Overall', 'Moving Further', and 'Interestingly' to link ideas. However, the transitions are sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'At the Fleeting glance'. The referencing is occasionally confusing, particularly in the third paragraph where the connection between the categories and the percentages is not always smooth. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows logically from the previous one will help improve the cohesion of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the main points, such as 'depicts', 'massive decline', and 'proportion'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and spelling errors, such as 'Taular' (tabular), 'caliberated' (calibrated), and 'involve' (involved). The phrase 'households works' is also non-standard. While you attempt to use some academic vocabulary, the inaccuracies in word choice and spelling occasionally impede the flow of the text. To reach a higher band, focus on using collocations correctly and proofreading for spelling errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('one parent were least'), incorrect preposition usage ('in the year 2007' is fine, but 'in begining' should be 'at the beginning'), and missing articles. Some sentences are also fragmented or lack clear structure, such as 'At the last one parent were least among above begin with 4%'. While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to impact the overall quality of the writing. Focus on basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement.
