The table below shows the change in some household types in Great Britain from 1971 to 2007.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table illustrates the percentage change in some household types in Great Britain from 1971 to 2007.

Overall, for one person the percentage for household significantly incereased over the period. While, on the other hand the couples who don't have children there percentage for the household categories gradually increased by the time.

In 1971, dependent children percentage 52%, its decreases in 1981 to 47%. By 1991, its gradually low 41%. However, in 2001 it goes down to 39% and in 2007 it reached to 30%.

On the other hand, the non-dependant children has a 10% percentage in 1971 and 1981. It goes to 11% in 1991. But in 2001 and 2007 their percentage proptional goes to 9%.

The upward trend for the lone parent among the following decade.

Overall, the table shows that the percentage of the dependat children has the highest range while the non-dependat children.
