Overall, the chart include percentage and types of households. Wherein households consist of: One Person, One family which of couple in which there are No children, Dependent Children, and Non- Dependent children. Lastly one of the house is for lone Parents.

The data is vary much diversified, as in 2001 and 2007 it was observed that people who lived alone were 12% in both the years. Similarly, same numbers were seen with the lone parent in the same year, although this is not the case with couples with children who are having no children and who have non-dependent children they are 25% and 9% respectively in the same time period.

The family with Dependent children do not have identical ratios in 2001 and 2007 which were 39 and 36.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to summarise the data but fails to provide a clear overview of the main trends. The description of the data is fragmented and lacks a logical selection of key features. For instance, the report focuses heavily on specific years (2001 and 2007) while neglecting the overall trajectory from 1971. The comparison between categories is often confusing, such as the mention of 'same numbers' which is not clearly explained. To improve, you should identify the most significant changes—such as the decline in couples with dependent children and the rise in one-person households—and present these as a coherent summary rather than listing isolated figures.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the internal structure is weak. The progression of ideas is disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison of data. Cohesive devices are used in a mechanical or inaccurate way, such as 'Wherein households consist of' and 'The data is vary much diversified', which do not effectively link the information. Referencing is often unclear, and the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words like 'whereas', 'in contrast', or 'consequently' would help create a more logical flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'the chart include percentage' (should be 'includes') and 'The data is vary much diversified' (should be 'varied'). The term 'sighted' is used incorrectly to refer to data points. While the response covers the necessary household categories, the lack of precision in describing trends (e.g., 'same numbers were seen') limits the ability to convey information clearly. Expanding your range of descriptive verbs and nouns related to data trends would significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('the chart include'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence structures ('couples with children who are having no children'). The use of complex sentences is attempted but often results in errors, such as the run-on sentence in the second paragraph. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of commas. To reach a higher band, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
