The table below shows the change in some household types in Great Britain from 1971 to 2007.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

This report will describe a table showing the change in some household types from 1971 to 2007 in Great Britain.

Overall, it can be seen that the household that is dependent on children had the highest percentage throughout the timeline. On the other hand, the houses with lone parent demonstrated the lowest percentage. Over the years, all the datas at the end of 2007 presented a higher number than how it was in 1971 excluding families with dependent and non-dependent children.

According to the data, in 1971, the families with children depending on their parents made up more than half of the percent, illustrating a peak at 52%. Then it gradually decreased to 36%. Morever, the percentage of the households that had non-dependent children kept a constant rate around 10%. But there was no sign of just couples living together.
