Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You recognise the topic’s two sides: tourism can bring countries financial benefits, while visitors may influence local culture and young people. However, the response does not clearly answer “to what extent” you agree or disagree; the ending, “it has both advantage and drawback,” presents a general balance rather than a definite position. The cultural impact is mentioned but not explained with a specific example or developed reasoning, and the environmental damage in the prompt is not addressed. The response is also substantially below the required minimum of 250 words, leaving the task only minimally covered. To improve, state your view directly, discuss both cultural and environmental effects where relevant, and support each main point with explanation or an example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response around contrasting points: tourism’s financial benefit is introduced first, followed by its possible cultural influence. The phrase “on the other hand” signals a change in direction, and the final sentence tries to summarise both sides. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the progression between them is difficult to follow. For example, “as much of visit your country” does not clearly connect the number of visitors to the claimed financial increase, while the shift from visitors’ cultures to children following them needs explanation. Use a clear introduction, separate body paragraphs for each main idea, and a conclusion that restates your position. Connect each point with precise linking phrases and clear references.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial source,” “cultures,” and “languages,” so the reader can identify the general subject of your ideas. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or forms make the meaning unclear. “Financial source” is not a natural way to describe tourism’s economic contribution; “source of income” or “economic contributor” would be clearer. “Ahuge of tourims” appears to mean a large number of tourists, but the spelling and phrasing obscure the point. There are also repeated basic terms such as “country” and “tourism.” Build a small set of accurate topic vocabulary—such as “local traditions,” “visitor numbers,” and “environmental impact”—and check spelling and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “on the other hand,” but most sentence structures are difficult to control and the meaning is sometimes unclear. For instance, “as much of visit your country most tourism the country gets financial increase” lacks a clear grammatical relationship between visitors and economic benefit. In “small childern or young people absuletly they fallow of them,” the subject and verb structure is also unclear. Articles, plurals, and verb forms are frequently inaccurate, and punctuation does not reliably separate complete ideas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first—for example, “Tourism creates income for local businesses”—then combine them using “because,” “although,” or “as a result.”
