Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years the industries of the tourism were increased to much, and due to this the economy of the country will also increased. Beacause tourism is one of the main aspect of the better economy. I agree with the given statement beacuse the goverment ignored the cultures and the enviroment that cause damage tourism.
One of the main reasons for this viewpoint is that, when a tourist same to explore the hidden spots and the beauty of our area, they donot follow the local culture rules, and they came from different culture so the children attract from their personality, and feel uncomfertable infront of them that cause a main damage of local culture and enviroment. For example, When a person tourist belong from a England and they came to the place where the local peoples is not more educated so the local peoples can not communicate properly with them, and they feel low level.
Another important consideration is that when a large tourism came to the country the economy of the country will increased, beacuse it will spend money and buy the things in our country and also pay the visa fee and use our services from this the economy of the country increased. Due to this country will became more popular and save.
In conclusion, although toursim damage the local culture but it also increased the economy of the counytry, so goverment should take steps to preserve the local culture and enviroment. and make a strict law for those how can damage the local culture or enviroment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that tourism can harm local culture and the environment, and your conclusion recommends government action. The response also recognises tourism’s economic benefit, as in the point that visitors spend money and use local services. However, the task asks whether you agree or disagree with the claim that damage is often ignored, and your position shifts: you say you agree, but later balance the harm against economic growth without clearly stating how far you agree. The cultural example is difficult to follow and does not explain specifically how tourism damages the environment. Develop fewer points more fully, explain what is ignored and by whom, and support the environmental aspect with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “One of the main reasons” and “In conclusion” help signal the structure. The economic point is separated from the cultural point, which gives the essay some organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from tourists’ behaviour to children’s reactions and then to local people feeling inferior, without clearly connecting these ideas. The example beginning “For example” is especially hard to follow. Some linking is repetitive or mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “and” and “due to this.” Make each paragraph develop one central idea in a clear sequence, and use pronouns and linking phrases only when their references are clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “local culture,” “environment,” “economy,” “preserve” and “strict law.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to understand. For example, “the industries of the tourism were increased to much” and “a large tourism came to the country” are not natural ways to describe growth in visitor numbers. Spelling errors such as “Beacause,” “enviroment” and “toursim” also occur repeatedly. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “tourism has expanded rapidly,” “a large number of tourists,” and “damage to local traditions and natural habitats.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional-style explanation beginning “when a tourist…” and a concluding sentence with “although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the message difficult to follow. For example, “the economy of the country will also increased” has an incorrect verb form, while “the local peoples is not more educated” has agreement and comparison problems. The sentence beginning “when a tourist same to explore” is also structurally unclear. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then extend them with one subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement and keep verb tense consistent when describing general effects.
