Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is believed that tourism is repadily growing industries and contribute to fooster nations' economies around the world. However, the damage tourism can lead to local cultures and the environment is often ignored. I entirely disagree with this perspective; in my opinion, government should protect local cultural and sustaniable tourism should decline environmental pollution.
To begin with, it is irrefutable that tourism boost countries' economies as well as generate job opportunitues. However, it can damage local heritage and environment too, that's way authorities have to take care about local cultures and surroundings, they can generate revenue from visitors and invest in restoring heritage sites and make strick low for tourism. It is a pragmatic way to preserve local cultural identity. As a result, tourism become way to preserve cultural identity instead of damage it. For instance, Indian government restores and maintains famous heritage sites sucha as the Taj Mahal and Red Fort, these places attraact millions of tourists. Therefore, it is evident that this view is inapproproate.
Furthermore, it is undeniable that sustainable tourism is the first priority for nations because natural attractions is essential to attract tourists. Places such as clean beaches, forests, and wildlife attract more visitors and generate revenue. Therefore, authoritis and tourism operatoers create waste management system, especially on beaches and costline. For example, in India, many beaches in Goa restrections on single use plastics and organize campagine about cline drive, it helps to reduce pollution and protect ecosystems. Thus, it is clear that this notion remains uncertain.
To conclude, it is evident that the demage tourism are not ignored, as government actively perserve cultural heritage and promote sustainable tourism to protect the environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that damage is ignored. You provide relevant examples, such as the Taj Mahal and waste management in Goa, to support your arguments. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive, and the conclusion does not fully synthesize the points made. While you address the task, the reasoning could be more nuanced; for instance, you argue that tourism preserves culture, but you could more explicitly contrast this with the 'damage' mentioned in the prompt to show a deeper understanding of the complexity of the issue.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Furthermore,' and 'Therefore' to link ideas. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'that's way' (should be 'that is why') and 'Thus, it is clear that this notion remains uncertain,' which does not logically follow the preceding argument about sustainable tourism. Paragraphing is present, but the flow between sentences occasionally feels disjointed due to grammatical errors.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'sustainable tourism,' 'heritage sites,' and 'ecosystems.' However, there are frequent spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'repadily' (rapidly), 'fooster' (foster), 'sustaniable' (sustainable), 'strick low' (strict laws), and 'inapproproate' (inappropriate). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent the meaning from being understood. To reach a higher band, you should focus on accuracy in spelling and more precise word choices.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'tourism are not ignored,' 'natural attractions is essential') and article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and comma splices. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to limit the score. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your clarity.
