Student answer (Band 6.0)
Tourism sector plays a crucial role in countries economy, which is the fastest growing industry around the globe. Sometimes this sector can cause several problems regarding countries such as local cultures and environment. Although such problems are often ignored by local councils or governments, I firmly disagree with this avoidance due to such factor leads to the overall countries degradation.
First and foremost, the reason I disagree with this statement is that the problems of local cultures and environment ruin people's overall growth of lives. This is because the level of carbon dioxide is increased significantly by exploring the influx of people. As a result of that, the temperature of this area is more likely to get warm, making people of this area feel uncomfortable. For example, a area which always witness visiting by tourists, there weather temperature always gets warm which actually brings misery to those area for people.
In addition to environment problems, local cultures also face harm by used plastics or bottles. For instance, it is seen that tourists who do not care to protect environment often throw the used plastic bottles to the surface. Consequently, this area of soil fertility declines ultimately, which actually causes suffering to the people of that area, decreasing agricultural yield and fish population of that environment that is also assist to drop economical growth.
To conclude, although tourism can provide several benefits, ultimate neglecting by government or local council can environmental and local cultural problems, and for this reason I completely disagree with this statement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the neglect of tourism's negative impacts. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention environmental and cultural damage, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the link between plastic bottles and soil fertility is scientifically tenuous and lacks a clear logical connection to 'local culture.' To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting points are more relevant and logically sound. The conclusion restates your position, but the overall development remains somewhat superficial, preventing a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'First and foremost,' 'In addition,' and 'To conclude' to signal the structure. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'due to such factor leads to.' The progression of ideas is present but sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, which makes the logical connection between sentences feel slightly disjointed at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'ruin,' 'harm,' and 'problems' repeatedly. There are also some collocation errors, such as 'witness visiting by tourists' and 'assist to drop economical growth,' which sound unnatural. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated academic vocabulary and collocations that are typical of formal writing, rather than relying on simple, repetitive word choices.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'Tourism sector plays a crucial role in countries economy' (missing articles), 'there weather temperature' (incorrect pronoun usage), and 'ultimate neglecting by government... can environmental and local cultural problems' (missing verb). While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limits your score in this criterion.
