Student answer (Band 6.5)
Toursitry is spreading quickly in today's world furthermore, it is participating in the country's economy in all over the world.Damage that toruism cause in the culture of that people and its suorronding is being neglected.I am partly agree that touristry is benificial and partly agree that its damaging is ignored.
In my point of view touristry is spreading very rapidly in all over the world and it is benificial for a country's economy. The economy of some countries are totally depends on the tourism department. For example, the country like Thailand totally depends on the tourism. Many people form different countries goes to Thailand to see its natural beauty, historicalplaces and its culture.People also go their because it is cheap.Every person should go on a tour to explore nature's thing, different languages and other people style of living.
On the other hand, tourism also damaged the culture of people and it harms the environment, all this is ignored by higher authorties.Tourists go on a tour to someplace, they spread rubbish on the earth and make the enviroment dirty.Government dose not pay attention to this. For example, govt cuts the tree to make new roads and to builld new parks and other public places for tourists, but they are actually damaging the environment and makeing the air polluted by cutting trees.
To sum up, tourism is beneficial for some country as it is playing role in country's ecocnomy in all over the world.Tourism also damage the environmnet and culture of people living there and govt is ignoring these damages.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, acknowledging both the economic benefits of tourism and the negative impacts on culture and the environment. You clearly state your position in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention Thailand as an example, the explanation remains quite general. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more specific, nuanced analysis of how tourism impacts local cultures beyond just mentioning it. The arguments are relevant, but they lack the depth and sophistication required for a higher score. The structure is clear, but the content needs more detailed support and elaboration to fully satisfy the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some basic cohesive devices such as 'On the other hand' and 'To sum up'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. There are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, particularly in the first paragraph. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that connects logically to the next. The overall progression of ideas is present but could be more sophisticated.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use non-standard terms like 'toursitry' instead of 'tourism'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'suorronding', 'authorties', 'builld', and 'enviroment', which occasionally distract the reader. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the range is not wide enough to demonstrate flexibility. To improve, you should focus on learning correct collocations and expanding your range of synonyms to avoid repeating the same words throughout the essay. Precision in word choice is an area that requires significant attention to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('economy of some countries are totally depends'), article usage ('the country like Thailand'), and word order. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and affect the overall quality of the writing. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles or incorrect verb forms before submitting your work.
