I disagree . Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries and contributes a great deal to the economies all around the world . But the damage tourism can cause to local cultures and environment is minimum as compared to its benefits . With the help of tourism, many people are able to earn their livelihood. And in many countries, the entire financial market of the country depends upon the the the number of people coming in their country , visiting and spending money . Because of travelling, many people are able to see the breathtaking places they only see on the social media . They are able to make travel vlog about their journey and connect to other peoples . And because of going to different places they are able to connect to nature . Because of trips to the beautiful place with friends it is great chance to make memories . And the activities we do on the on our tours is very good for our mental heath . Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention economic benefits and cultural diversity, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'mental health' and 'making memories' is not directly linked to the core debate regarding the damage caused by tourism. To improve, you should provide specific examples or evidence to support your claims rather than listing general benefits. The essay lacks a formal structure, such as an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which makes the argument feel like a series of loosely connected points rather than a cohesive essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks paragraphing, which is essential for a Band 6 or higher. The ideas are presented in a single block of text, making it difficult to follow the progression of your argument. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Because of' and 'And', these are used repetitively and often at the start of sentences, which makes the flow mechanical. To improve, you must group related ideas into distinct paragraphs and use a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'on the other hand') to connect your thoughts more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on simple, repetitive phrases such as 'very good', 'great chance', and 'beautiful thing'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'financial market of the country depends upon the number of people'. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'economic stimulus', 'cultural exchange', or 'environmental degradation', and avoid repeating the same words within short sentences.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response consists mostly of simple sentences. While there are some attempts at complex structures, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'the the the' (repetition), 'connect to other peoples' (incorrect pluralization), and 'tourism affect local cultures' (subject-verb agreement error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces before periods and commas. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and reducing repetitive sentence patterns. Incorporating more complex sentence structures, such as relative clauses or conditional sentences, would help demonstrate a wider grammatical range.
