In modern times, the issue of the tourism has become highly controversial. There are those who say that tourism is the best way for increasing industries and contributes a great deal to economies around the world. However, the damage tourism can cause to local cultures and the environment is often ignored. From my perspective, I largely

agree with the tourism is one of the best and fastest growing industries a great deal to economies around the era.

The primary reason for my agreement is that the government can increased economies systems. For example, if some tourist will visiting our country, they can generate revenue from sources like transportation, and taxes. Additionally, they can earn money many kind of businesses such as shops, photographer, fruit shops. Moreover, everyone knows our country, when some tourism come in our country, they take photos and share on Facebook, Instagram, Imo, and youtube. Because of which, everyone knows our tourist locations.

Another compelling argument is that the tourists visiting our country can harm the local culture and environment. For instance, when tourists visit our country, they can west lot of food and sometimes tourists can be bad behavior of individuals.

In conclusion, I firmly agree with tourism is one of the fastest growing industries which is the great deal to economies around the world. However, the damage tourism can cause to local cultures and the environment is often ignored because tourists is the most valuable person in every countries, when they are visiting our place we should full support and respects and we should provide our best because they are spending heavy money which is the best way to increasing industries. However, some disadvantages such as they can damage to the local cultures and the environments which is the project causing the greatest financial loss in our country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging both the economic benefits and the negative impacts of tourism. However, the position is inconsistent; the student states they agree with the prompt but then provides arguments for both sides without a clear, sustained argument. The ideas are often under-developed, such as the list of social media platforms or the vague mention of 'bad behavior'. The conclusion introduces new, contradictory ideas about tourists being 'valuable persons' which confuses the overall stance. To improve, the student should focus on clearly stating a position in the introduction and supporting each main point with a single, well-explained example rather than a list of disjointed points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. While some cohesive devices like 'Additionally' and 'Moreover' are used, they are often applied mechanically or inappropriately. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the second paragraph where 'they' is used to refer to tourists, businesses, and the government interchangeably. The transition between the economic benefits and the environmental damage is abrupt. The conclusion fails to summarize the main points effectively, instead introducing new, somewhat confusing arguments that disrupt the flow of the essay. Improved paragraph structure and more precise use of linking words would enhance the coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good', 'bad', and 'money'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and incorrect collocations, such as 'increased economies systems', 'west lot of food' (likely meaning 'waste'), and 'spending heavy money'. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'revenue' and 'tourist locations', but the overall range is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on learning collocations and using more academic synonyms for common words to improve the sophistication of their writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('tourists is', 'government can increased'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'Because of which, everyone knows our tourist locations.' The use of complex structures is limited and often results in errors, such as 'I largely agree with the tourism is one of the best...'. While the meaning is generally discernible, the high frequency of basic errors in tense, pluralization, and word order prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.
