Tourism is now considered as one of the largest emerging and thurst sectors of the world economy. It is flourished day by day for its profit making nature. Some schools of thought argue that it has a vast negative impact on world ecology and environmental balance. I believe this is absolutly true and Government and concerning authorities should take maltifaceted and intensified stratagies to prevent the negative aspects.
Firstly, environment is the most important for our survival then it will comes about the economy and society. Because without suitable environmental conditions we can not be able to exist. There were many biological spacies which extincted and some are now severly endangered. For instance numerous kinds of birds such as rare species of herron and reptiles such as platiplas are no longer seen in the nature. So it is crucial to protect our environment from hazard. Moreover, without hygeine environment it would be very difficult to mainatin the natural and geographically panoramic land diversity of our country. As geographically bangladesh has three historic and enriched land types.
Additionally, world economy recently has discovered its most significant and finest sectors of financial development. As it involved with various numbers of economic activities. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed the prompt by taking a clear position and providing reasons for your argument. You discuss both the environmental impact and the economic benefits of tourism. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While you provide examples like the Sundarbans and bird species, the connection between these examples and the broader argument could be more analytical. The essay tends to drift into a discussion about local development in Bangladesh rather than maintaining a global perspective on the tourism industry as requested by the prompt. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting points directly reinforce your central thesis throughout each paragraph.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Additionally', and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure of your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the transition between environmental survival and the specific mention of Bangladesh feels abrupt. The use of cohesive devices is adequate but lacks the flexibility and sophistication required for a higher band. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between ideas will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting to use topic-specific terms like 'financial solvency', 'socioeconomic development', and 'cultural heritage'. However, there are several spelling errors ('thurst', 'absolutly', 'maltifaceted', 'spacies', 'hygeine', 'mainatin') and word choice inaccuracies ('flourished' used as a transitive verb, 'concerning authorities' instead of 'relevant authorities'). These errors occasionally distract the reader, though they do not impede overall communication. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of common academic vocabulary and refining your understanding of collocations to ensure more natural expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, including the use of conditional forms ('Had we not kept...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms ('it will comes about', 'we can not be able to exist', 'it involved with') and article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent in places. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. To progress, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of modal verbs, and practice proofreading to catch basic errors in tense and structure.
