Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays tourism development of tourism is in a fastest pace and contributes to the economic development of the country. Even though excessive tourism cause severe damage to the environment as well as the local culture which is ignored. I strongly agree to this opinion because in sake of tourism environment is exploited to a large extent, in addition affect the cultural wellbeing of the people.
A good reason for this is the developments related to tourism causes dreadful problems to environment. Throwing plastic wastes to environment as well as water bodies dreadfully affects complex issues to the organisms in the nature. Moreover, deforestation, filling fields and waterbodies for construction of hotels affects the basic symphony of the nature. In recent time we can observe that several species of plants and animals were endangered and extinct because of the breakage in food chain. A best example for this is a rare species of monkey in southern part of Asia named Lion- tailed was disappeared from the world due to over exploitation of human beings
Furthermore, the over intervention of tourism in local areas influence the youngsters and others towards that culture which in turn affect the local culture. Adaptation of foreign culture leads to the extinction of the conventional culture followed by the people. This influence inspire the individuals to migrate to other cultures leaving behind their own culture results in declining number of local people in the area.
In conclusion, in my perspective the over intervention of damage tourism adversely affect the cultural wellbeing of the people along with causing damage to environment because of over exploitation and excessive developments.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed the prompt by taking a clear position and providing supporting arguments regarding environmental and cultural damage. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention the 'Lion-tailed' monkey, the explanation of how tourism specifically caused its extinction is vague. To reach a higher band, ensure that your examples are more fully explained and directly linked to the core argument. The conclusion is also quite brief and repeats the prompt's language rather than synthesizing your main points effectively. Overall, you have covered all parts of the task, but the depth of analysis could be improved to better support your strong stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
Your essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'A good reason for this is the developments related to tourism causes...'. Additionally, there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to express your ideas, including terms like 'exploitation', 'conventional culture', and 'adversely affect'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'tourism development of tourism is in a fastest pace' (should be 'at a fast pace') and 'filling fields and waterbodies' (which is not standard phrasing). Some vocabulary is also repetitive or imprecise, such as 'dreadful problems' and 'symphony of the nature'. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary to convey your meaning more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('developments... causes'), article usage ('to environment' instead of 'to the environment'), and awkward phrasing ('in sake of tourism'). Some sentences are structurally incomplete or confusing, such as 'Even though excessive tourism cause severe damage... which is ignored.' While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
