Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging both the economic benefits and the negative impacts of tourism. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention economic growth and environmental damage, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. The position is clear, but the explanation of how tourism affects culture is somewhat vague. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed reasoning or concrete examples, such as mentioning a specific type of environmental degradation or a particular cultural impact, rather than just listing general concepts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Butt there is an cause' and 'Conclusion, I agree' are not natural ways to transition between ideas. The flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed, making it difficult to follow the logical progression of your argument. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'nevertheless') and ensuring they are used correctly would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, which occasionally impedes communication. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'quickely', 'impoetant', 'buste', 'sits', 'thses') and word choice issues (e.g., 'refused by tourists' instead of 'ignored', 'give time to nature' instead of 'reconnect with nature'). You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use less common items effectively. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on accurate spelling and using more precise collocations to express your ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('Tourism... play the important role'), article usage ('the one of single'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple, and attempts at more complex structures often result in errors, such as 'If this tourism run like this so it can disapare of the culture.' Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles or incorrect verb tenses.
