Tourism is one fastest growing industries all over the world. Tourism contributes a lot in the economies of countries. However, some people argue that some tourists are polluting environment and damage tourism affect the local cultures. I largely agree that tourism affecting the local cultues and polluting environment.
On the one hand, tourism is making big impact on country by contributing in economy. Most of countries like Dubai, Saudia arabia are constructing building and making natural tourist points to attract toursit from all over the world. Moreover, their most of economy countribution are coming from tourism. For example, most tourist prefer to visit northern side of Pakistan because of its naturals views. Futhermore, Pakistan government can make a big revenew from this chance making out natural view to tourist points.
On the other hand, damage tourism can cause to local cultures and polluting environment. Most tourists throw garbage on tourist points. Increasing in trousim affecting climate change by planes emission. In addition, it is amking a big impact on environment. Local cultures and traditions are changing because of damage tourism. Cultures and traditions are becoming just part of entertainment.
In my opinion, tourism play a big role in developing of a country. Countries have to invest more to engage more tourist. However, government have to make laws to control envirmental factors.
To conclude, tourism amking big impact on the economies of countries. However, they should be controlled by some policies to make pollution free environment. Government can make policy to protect local cultures and tradition, so , they cannot be part of just entertainment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the economic benefits of tourism and its negative impacts on local cultures and the environment, thereby presenting a clear position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, particularly in the body paragraphs and the conclusion. For instance, the point regarding environmental damage is stated as 'Most tourists throw garbage on tourist points' without much elaboration or specific examples beyond planes and garbage. The conclusion merely restates points rather than synthesizing them. Because all parts of the prompt are addressed with a clear stance, the response fits comfortably within Band 6. To reach higher bands, the student needs to fully develop their main ideas with more detailed explanations and varied supporting evidence rather than repeating similar arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into five paragraphs, showing a clear overall arrangement with an introduction, two body paragraphs, an opinion paragraph, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. Basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In addition' are used, but logical progression within paragraphs is hindered by repetitive phrasing and abrupt transitions. For example, the sentence 'In addition, it is amking a big impact on environment' is vague and poorly integrated. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as the pronoun use in 'However, they should be controlled by some policies', where 'they' presumably refers to tourism or tourists, but the grammatical antecedent is ambiguous. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion requires better linking to achieve a higher score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but it shows significant limitations and frequent word-choice errors. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'economies', 'climate change', and 'traditions', but struggles with accurate collocation and word formation. Examples of errors include 'fastest growing industries' (missing 'one of the'), 'damage tourism affect' (incorrect noun/verb forms), 'naturals views', and 'big revenew'. Furthermore, words like 'making' and 'big' are overused repeatedly throughout the text, such as 'making big impact' and 'making out natural view'. While communication is not severely impeded and the meaning remains clear, the high frequency of lexical inaccuracies places this response firmly at Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like conditional and concessive clauses (e.g., 'Although...', 'In my opinion...'). However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors occurring in almost every sentence. Notable errors include missing articles ('Tourism is one fastest growing industries'), incorrect verb forms ('tourism affecting the local cultues'), subject-verb agreement issues ('tourism play a big role', 'government have to make laws'), and spelling mistakes ('amking', 'envirmental', 'revenew'). While some simpler sentences are accurate, the high density of structural and punctuation errors prevents the response from achieving a Band 6, as the errors frequently distract the reader and disrupt the flow.
