Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now a days tourism becomes an important sector in every country and plays a crucial role in economy of each country.Tourism is that in which individuals visit iconic landmarks, study about their and other countries history and knows about that country culture heritage, meet different people's and learn some about that country during thier tour.
To begin ,today tourism is considering one of most rising industry in world and enhancing their country economy and gdp.Every country knows for its specific reasons for instance india is known as big rise and crop industry.Allah gave natural beauty to each country but in numerous countries natural beauty is known in all over world .This statement is also true because a number of countries earn each year more from tourism than any other sector and industry. For instance nepal it is a well known about thier big mountain beautiful streams and earn more than any other sector . However same as in Switzerland .A great number of countries spend more in tourism sector to enhance this industry.
One important key factor is that at some points we face some issues related to tousrim .For instance tourism cause to environmental degradation as tourists dispose of waste ,brake rules not follow instructions.Same is that damage to tourims change and effect our culture heritage because if no tourists visit our own country and foreign individuals do not known about our culture and traditions and these cultures are dead because people not gave importance to our culture heritage.
From my point of view i agree about both these statements.
Ecah country should raje steps to enchance tourism sector and also reduce complaints and damage to environment and culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding the economic benefits of tourism versus the potential damage to local cultures and the environment. The writer provides a stance, stating agreement with both statements regarding economic contributions and negative impacts. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat superficial. For example, the point about Nepal and Switzerland mentions natural beauty but fails to clearly link it to the prompt's core debate in an extended manner. Furthermore, the final conclusion is brief and the argument feels slightly disjointed. This aligns best with Band 5.0, where the task is addressed, but ideas remain under-developed and the position becomes somewhat unclear due to limited elaboration.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is divided into paragraphs, but the paragraphing and logical progression need significant improvement. The second paragraph is extremely long and crams multiple disparate ideas together, including references to India, Nepal, and Switzerland without smooth transitions. Cohesive devices are repetitive or used inaccurately, such as 'Same is that' and 'However same as in Switzerland'. There is a lack of clear overall progression between the economic introduction and the environmental consequences. Referencing and linking are occasionally faulty, causing the reader to struggle with the flow of argument. These features reflect the Band 5 descriptor, where there is some organisation, but overall progression is unclear and cohesive devices are inadequate or inaccurate.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, with frequent word-choice errors and imprecise collocations. Examples include 'tourism becomes an important sector', 'study about their and other countries history', and 'tourisum' (spelling). The writer attempts some less common terms like 'environmental degradation' and 'economic heritage', but inaccurate word forms and spelling errors ('raje', 'enchance', 'ecah') are noticeable and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. While the range is minimally adequate to discuss the topic, the density of lexical errors keeps the response at Band 5.0, matching the description of a limited vocabulary with noticeable errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences or faulty attempts at complex clauses. Grammatical errors are frequent throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('tourism becomes', 'tourists ... brake rules not follow instructions'), missing articles ('in world', 'to tourims'), and incorrect preposition use ('knows for its specific reasons'). Punctuation is also erratic, with missing commas and spacing issues around punctuation marks. These frequent errors cause strain for the reader and demonstrate only basic control over sentence structures, firmly placing the grammar at a Band 5.0 level.
