It is undeniable that in this contemporary world, tourism has taken an essential part of the developing industries and also significantly contributing to economies all over the nations. In contrast, there are some drawbacks of tourism which is cultural and environmental secrifices, which is sometimes ignored by the society. I completely agree with this statement, and in this essay I will why I support this view.

One of the primary reasons why some individuals avoid taking actions of this environmental damages is because they might be aware of the consequences. In other words, in a country where there are many landscapes or tourist attractions, around those places there are plenty of hawkers and uneducated people who are unaware of the law. For instance, in India, there are many tourist attractions sush as Taj Mahal, where people usually visit from different countries to enjoy the view, however as they see some local who are not using any trush cane for waste then the traveller get encouragement of doing the same actions. Therefore, it is mainly because of the netizens who avoid those law and as a result, they ignored the damages.

Another reason is because of the lake of security. In some countries, like Bangladesh, there are less cameras in the tourist places, hence it caused challenges for finding the real eveidence to solved the problem. Another significant reason is that traveller are unaware of the culters of the visiting country, due to this lake of cultural knowledge they may find it dificult to cope with the environment, as a result unknowingly cause trouble. Moreover, from the locals view point they are just guest that is why they do not bother to claim any trouble for them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. While the writer manages to present a clear position of completely agreeing with the prompt, the ideas provided remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion regarding environmental damage mentions the Taj Mahal and littering, but the explanation is tangled and fails to fully explore how tourism causes broad cultural and environmental harm. Additionally, the third paragraph introduces vague points about security cameras and a lack of cultural awareness without sufficient elaboration or concrete examples. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to extend their ideas fully, ensuring each supporting point is logically elaborated rather than left abrupt.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some organisation in the essay, including basic paragraphing and introductory and concluding remarks, but it lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are sometimes inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the frequent use of phrases like 'another reason' and 'due to this lake of cultural knowledge'. Referencing is also unclear at times, creating some confusion for the reader as the text moves between ideas about laws, security, and culture without smooth transitions. To improve, the writer should employ a wider and more accurate range of cohesive devices and ensure each paragraph flows logically into the next to build a cohesive argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, but there are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'secrifices' for sacrifices, 'sush' for such, 'trush cane' for trash can, 'lake' for lack, 'eveidence' for evidence, 'culters' for cultures, and 'unknown' for unaware. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire and ensure greater accuracy in spelling and collocations so that meaning is conveyed precisely and without distraction.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay displays a limited range of structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader, including problems with verb forms and tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles. Examples include 'tourism has taken an essential part', 'there are some drawbacks... which is', 'traveller get encouragement', and 'they ignored the damages'. Furthermore, sentence fragments such as 'and in this essay I will why I support this view' demonstrate a lack of control over complex sentence patterns. To progress, the writer needs to increase grammatical accuracy across a wider variety of sentence types.
