Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both the economic benefits of tourism and its possible harm to the environment and local communities, and your conclusion recommends sustainable tourism. However, your position is not consistently clear: “I am fully agree with this idea” is difficult to interpret because the prompt presents a contrast, and the essay later gives substantial attention to tourism’s benefits. Several points are relevant but under-developed. For instance, you mention pollution and damage to wildlife habitats, but do not explain how tourism causes these effects or provide a specific example. The cultural-exchange point is also asserted rather than supported. State clearly whether you agree that harm is often ignored, then develop each main reason with explanation and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and it attempts to organise ideas with markers such as “First of all,” “secondly” and “To conclude.” However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the discussion shifts from benefits to harms and then introduces another summary-like paragraph beginning “Tourism has become an increasingly popular…” without a clear role in the structure. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, as in “But on the other hand” and “and However,” while several sentences run ideas together. Group the benefits and drawbacks into clearly focused paragraphs, use transitions only where they show a real relationship, and make each paragraph develop one central point. Clearer referencing would also help readers see how examples support your claims.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “economic benefits,” “employment opportunities,” “environmental pollution,” “local communities” and “sustainable tourism.” This gives the response a basic range suited to the subject. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the meaning harder to process: “excelllent deal to economics,” “popolarity,” “indusrty,” and “destry natural habitat” are examples. Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “increasing the demand of industries” and “adopt different activities.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “boost local economies,” “damage natural habitats” and “preserve cultural traditions” would help you express the ideas clearly without relying on repeated general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if the tourism is not properly managed,” and you use clauses to connect causes and effects. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries can make the argument difficult to follow. For example, “I am fully agree” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “the increasing popolarity … contributes … and provide” does not maintain agreement. The sentence beginning “Although its rapid growth brings…” also joins ideas without a clear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and separating complete ideas with full stops. Then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their structure and punctuation.
