Student answer (Band 4.0)

Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries and contributes a great deal to economies around the world ,the damage tourism can cause to local culture and the environment is often ignored . I agree in this statement and its have many advantages and disadvantages and i discussed the with reason.

I agree in this statement that the fastest growing industries and contributes great deal because when the tourism came to other city, countries and an other place in the world they visited the stor, markets, historycal places and etc. They buy the different things then econmies the world .

The damage tourism can cause to local cultures and the environment is often ignored this is true because when the tourist is came the other country is worried in the local cultures like languages, customs, and othere things and some country have not good environment and the air and water is dirty and they faced the worrieds then.

We cannot ignored the this sitution because low people visited over country and no economies around the world therefor we should to take care to improved environment and local culture so many people visited the over country this is beater for every one and we should improved in over country therefor many people visited over country ans economies around the world.

I agree in this statement that when touriosm visited the industries and contributes then over encome is high ans one thing is that we should take care to improved your environement and local cultures. Therefore the tourism was not worried.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

Your position is stated—“I agree”—and you refer to both tourism’s economic contribution and possible effects on culture and the environment. However, the response only minimally addresses the question: it does not clearly explain the extent of your agreement or develop specific reasons and examples. Several points are difficult to follow, such as “some country have not good environment,” and the final paragraph repeats the idea that tourism raises income without adding support. The response also falls short of the required 250 words: 32 words copied from the prompt were not counted, leaving 226 words. To strengthen your response, explain one cultural impact and one environmental impact with a clear example, then connect these to your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is an attempt to organise the response into paragraphs, and words such as “because” and “therefore” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow: the opening promises advantages and disadvantages, but the body does not clearly separate or explain them, and the conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than summarising a developed argument. References such as “this situation,” “then,” and “the other country” are unclear, so readers may not know which idea they refer to. To improve, give each paragraph one clear purpose, use a topic sentence, and link each supporting explanation directly to the main claim. Avoid repeating the same point in different wording.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “tourism,” “local cultures,” “environment,” “economies,” “customs,” and “markets,” so the subject is recognisable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors make several phrases hard to understand, such as “historycal places,” “econmies,” and “the tourism was not worried.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “improved your environment” and “the fastest growing industries and contributes.” Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing impacts, such as “generate income,” “damage local ecosystems,” and “erode cultural traditions.” Check spelling and choose words that express the intended meaning precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “because when the tourism came to other city…” This shows some effort to extend sentence structure, but control is inconsistent and errors frequently make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “I agree in this statement,” “its have many advantages,” and “when the tourist is came,” which show problems with verb forms, agreement, and sentence patterns. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also often inaccurate, as in “other city” and the comma-spliced opening. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using “because,” “although,” or “which.” Proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement and tense consistency.
