Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, it is the biggest concerns. Few individual argue that tourism is one of the fastest expansing industries and make a huge profit for economies around the world. As a result, it can be damaged our local cultures and the environment is often Ignored. I strongly agree to this notion and I will more discuss about in the following paragraphs with suitable examples.
On the one hand, tourism play a crucial role in the country and it generate too much income or jobs. In addition, each and every years there are lakhs of people who have been visiting various places around the world as a result, it directly affect on the country economy because, when people visit another country so, that they can purchase few thing and spend some money behind know the culture and entertainment during that time it effect on the direct economy. For example, in India each and every year lots of people have been visiting Taj Mahal and it is famous for its beauty and symbol of love and Indian government generate more than 10 crores money through tourism.
On the other hand, another advantages for our country because, when people visit a place so, they can purchase multiple items and try multiple types of the food on the street and it generate a significant income. Another issue is pollution and it is serious problem which is usually ignore. Additionally, few pople can damage to the environment through the dust and plastics waste and it is harmful our environment so, the government can take a strict action behind this problems.
In conclusion, I think tourism is a dominent source of generate revenue in the world as a result it can cause our local cultures and the environment and the government make a strict rules on tourism place if people break rules than, direct give fine so, they can understand true value of local culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that tourism can harm local cultures and the environment, and you include relevant points about economic benefits and pollution. The Taj Mahal example adds some specific support. However, the response does not fully develop the question’s central concern: how tourism damages local cultures as well as the environment. Cultural harm is mentioned in the introduction and conclusion, but not explained with an example or a clear cause. The body also spends substantial space describing tourism’s economic benefits, while the environmental point remains general. Develop both types of harm and explain how they arise, then connect your examples directly to your position. The required length is met; eight words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the contrast markers “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” show an attempt to organise contrasting points. However, progression within the paragraphs is often unclear: the second body paragraph begins with another economic advantage, then shifts abruptly to pollution. Several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences, and linking phrases such as “as a result” and “in addition” are repeated without always showing a precise relationship. References such as “this problems” also make connections harder to follow. Give each paragraph one clear purpose, order its supporting points logically, and use shorter sentences and more precise links between cause, example and result.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “tourism,” “economy,” “pollution,” “environment” and “local culture,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “fastest expansing industries,” “spend some money behind know the culture,” and “dominant source of generate revenue.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “pople,” “dominant” written as “dominant” incorrectly in context, and “expansing” also reduce control. Build a bank of accurate phrases for discussing economic effects, cultural change and environmental damage, and check spelling and word forms during revision. More precise vocabulary would help you express the argument without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and you use some subordinate clauses, for example “when people visit another country.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to follow. Examples include “tourism play” and “it generate,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “it can be damaged our local cultures,” where the verb pattern is incorrect. The sentence beginning “when people visit another country” also contains several clauses joined without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check agreement, verb patterns and punctuation when editing.
