Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this contemporary era, people have showed greater amount of interest in tourism, as it has become one of the most demanding and prominent industry around the globe. While distruction of tourism can impose threat to local culture and tradition and the ecosystem. I completly agree to this particular statment and there are several reasons associated with.

Firstly, Tourism creates great revenue for a country. Government can introduce different laws about tourists attractions regarding to finances. As they can impose tickets and entery fees for such places. Eventually, this can generate more money and may contribute to economy. In ontrast, the reduction in tourists number can substantially affect nation's traditions and cultures because foriegn tourists give greate importance to another's country customs. As having no such system that provides support to tourism industry can mitigate the people preference, which results in unpopularity of particular custom among people. Eventually this can eradicate once's local traditions by not being discussed by individuals. For instance, if the authorites do not provide suitable funds to community to look after traditional infrastructures that symbolize older custom, it may results in vanishing their superiority.

However, it greatly influence people opinion about environment and its surrounding. As tourism reflects`the importance of particular community, while having no tourers in that society can dramatically reduce its value and people may lose interst in exploring such places. As a result majority prefer not to visit that place as a result the environment may experienced many obstacles. For instance, our society had a historical building which was approaced by several visitors but due to security issues the society limit entrances, this really disturb people and now a days hardly anyone come there.

In conclusion, tourism can have positive impact on economy of a country but culture may suffer a lot in case of damaged tourism as well as enviroment can also face harmful consequence

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and discuss both cultural and environmental effects, with examples involving traditional buildings and a historical site. However, the response does not consistently answer the central claim that tourism’s damage is often ignored. Much of the first body paragraph instead argues that fewer tourists and insufficient tourism funding can harm traditions, which shifts the focus from damage caused by tourism. The environmental paragraph also says tourism raises awareness, but does not clearly explain the environmental harm or why it is overlooked. To strengthen the response, keep each main point directly tied to the prompt, explain the cause-and-effect relationship, and develop relevant examples more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The essay has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “However” and “In conclusion” help show the intended structure. Nevertheless, the progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas shift or contradict one another. For example, the first body paragraph moves from tourism revenue to the effects of reduced tourism, while the second moves from community value to environmental obstacles without making the connection explicit. Several sentences beginning with “As” are fragments or do not clearly attach to the preceding idea. Use one central point per paragraph, connect each example directly to that point, and make references such as “this” and “that place” more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “ecosystem,” “traditions,” “revenue,” “security issues” and “historical building.” This gives you some useful language for discussing tourism and its effects. However, frequent spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural combinations make parts of the message harder to understand: “distruction,” “entery,” “foriegn,” “greate” and “approaced” are examples, while “demanding industry” and “damage tourism” are not suitable expressions in context. Some words are also repeated, particularly “people,” “place” and “tourism.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, such as “a growing industry,” “tourism-related damage” and “protect cultural heritage,” to express your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “while,” “because” and “if.” However, complex sentences are often incomplete or inaccurately joined, and errors occur frequently enough to make some relationships unclear. For example, “While destruction of tourism can impose threat…” is a dependent clause without a complete main clause, and “As they can impose tickets…” is also a fragment. There are recurring problems with agreement and verb forms, as in “it greatly influence” and “it may results,” as well as articles and plurals in “one of the most…industry.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and finite verb, then check agreement, articles and punctuation.
