Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that nowadays tourism is one of the most rapidly growing industries and also helps economy all over the world. However, the weak tourism can make to local culture and environment if often neglected. I completely agree with this view because tourism helps the country to make it financially stable and also helps the tourists to know better about the country.
The primary reason for my view is that tourism is a very growing industry and facilitates the individuals according to their demands and needs. For instance, if a tourist guider provides his services to tourist people and in return get some handsome amount of money this act will effects the countrys' economy. Therefore, whatever is doing in a country it eventually effects the economy.
Secondly, tourism industry in not only growing in my country but also every other part of the world and it will benefit the tourists to understand things deeply about a place or a country. To illustrate, In developing countries government facilitate their tour guiders with different kind of rewards because they playing their crucial role in boosting countrys' economy. As a result, tour guiders give their best to increase the country's economy with their services.
In conclusion, I strongly agree with the view that tourism is one of the fastest growing industry and also aid economy around the world. However, the weak tourism can make the local cultures and environment is often neglected. Although certain challenges may arise, I believe that the overall impact depends on how effectively this approach is implemented and managed.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is stated clearly in the introduction (“I completely agree”) and repeated in the conclusion, and you provide two body paragraphs with examples about employment and tour guides. However, the response only partially addresses the central issue: the prompt asks whether damage to local cultures and the environment is ignored, but your main points focus on tourism’s economic benefits and helping visitors understand a country. You do not explain the cultural or environmental harm, or why it is overlooked, so the reasons do not adequately support your stated agreement. The conclusion also introduces the vague idea that impacts depend on management without developing it. To strengthen the response, directly discuss both kinds of damage and explain how they compare with tourism’s economic advantages.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “The primary reason” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. These markers help readers identify the stages of your argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited: both body paragraphs return to economic benefits, and the second does not clearly build on the first. Some links are mechanical or unclear, particularly “Therefore, whatever is doing in a country it eventually effects the economy,” which does not show precisely how the example supports the point. The conclusion also shifts to management without a clear link to the preceding discussion. Develop one distinct idea per paragraph and use linking phrases to show cause, contrast, and consequence accurately.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “tourism industry,” “local cultures,” “environment,” “developing countries,” and “boosting.” This gives the response a basic range suited to the subject. However, vocabulary is repetitive and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “weak tourism can make to local culture,” “tourist people,” and “tour guiders.” The repeated use of “economy” and “helps” also limits precision. Aim to learn natural topic-specific combinations and choose words that express the intended relationship: for example, tourism can “generate income,” “damage local ecosystems,” or “erode cultural traditions.” Check spelling and apostrophe use in forms such as “country’s” as part of careful editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer clauses, including “because tourism helps the country…” and “Although certain challenges may arise…”. This shows some effort to connect ideas, but the range is limited and complex sentences are often inaccurate. Examples include “the weak tourism can make to local culture,” “tourism industry in not only growing,” and “because they playing their crucial role,” where sentence structure or verb forms are faulty. There are also agreement and tense problems in “a tourist guider … get” and “this act will effects.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise forming complete clauses, matching subjects and verbs, and using modal verbs correctly—for example, “will affect,” not “will effects”—then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
