Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, toursim is rapidly growing industries and provides a lot to economies far and wide. However, the weak tourism can cause to local cultures and the environment is often neglected. I partially agree with this view because although tourism is an important industry these days, it has some negative effects if we take this for granted.
Firstly, it plays a crucial role in boosting countrys' economy. Because as many. Because when travellers visit a place for for fun and amusement it benefits the whole country. For instance, if a visitor especially international holidaymaker visits some country they are more likely to spend money for that place it benefits the economy. As a result, country take advantage from this matter.
Secondly, tourism also shows some drastic consequences if we take this for granted. Because of if we let guide community free-handed they will make their own policies and charge money from visitors according to their need.
To illustrate, if government does not keep check and balance on tour guiders they will charge extra money from travellers and give them the false information about a place or a country which effects the country and economy as a whole. Therefore, government should ponder over this matter.
In conclusion, I partially agree with this view because, I believe the tourism industry plays a significant role in the betterment of countrys' economy but the goverment consideration must be required for the country's overall development. This measure benefits both the individual and society as a whole.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a position—“I partially agree”—and mention both tourism’s economic contribution and possible negative effects, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion does not adequately address the specific harms named in the prompt: damage to local cultures and the environment. The main negative example concerns tour guides overcharging visitors or giving false information, which is related to tourism management but does not explain cultural or environmental damage. Economic benefits are also asserted rather than supported with a clear, developed example. The response is 239 words, 11 words below the 250-word minimum; 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop relevant examples and explain how they support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph repeats and breaks off with “Because as many. Because when,” while the second shifts from tourism’s consequences to tour-guide conduct without clearly connecting this to cultural or environmental harm. Some linking phrases, including “As a result” and “Therefore,” announce conclusions that have not been fully established. To improve, give each paragraph one clear central point, develop it in a logical sequence, and use references and transitions that make the relationship between claims and examples explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “boosting,” “international holidaymaker,” “consequences,” and “overall development,” and the general meaning is usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or awkward choices make parts of the argument unclear. For example, “the weak tourism” does not express the intended idea of harm caused by tourism, and “free-handed” is not a natural way to describe a community being left without oversight. “Tour guiders” and “ponder over this matter” are also imprecise in context. Spelling errors such as “toursim” and “goverment” further reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of words for environmental and cultural impacts, and check collocations and spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex forms, including the concession in “although tourism is an important industry” and the conditional sentence beginning “if government does not keep check and balance.” However, control is inconsistent, and faulty sentence construction sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. The fragment “Because as many. Because when travellers visit…” interrupts the first body paragraph, while “Because of if we let…” combines structures incorrectly. There are also errors in agreement and sentence formation, as in “country take advantage,” and punctuation problems, including the comma after “because” in the conclusion. Practise building complete sentences around one main clause, then check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation, especially in longer sentences.
