Student answer (Band 5.5)

Tourisum contributes heavily to economy around the globe and also is one of the fastest growing sector However the damage which is caused as a result of tourisum to local clutures and often in these matters the environment is always ignored. these sites get damaged due to tourists not having proper education of what should be done and what not should be done and the rules should have been more stricter to protect clutural site and cluture. And i totally agree with this opininon so that we should preserve culutural site .

While travelling to a clutural site tourists should be informed of what all things are ok there and what things are not ok and should be avoided .ex assigning a tourists guide to a group of tourist and they will educate them what all things are legal and what all things are illegal and should not be done through this tourists will understand what all things should they avoid they will get an awarness and will result in clean and not tampered cultural sites.

The rules on clutural sites should be made more strict so that no visitors commit those ever again and will preserve the rich local cultures . ex adding a fine for throwing chips packets ,cans, bottles at a clutural site so that non of the tourists commit these kind of activities ever again this will in return set an example so that none of the tourist will ever do it again and this actions will presurve the hertitage of a country and also environment .

In conclusion,i totally agree with making toursist aware about the rules and also to impose fines for any rules broken so that environment and cultural site are saved.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you state, “I totally agree,” and the conclusion restates your view that awareness and fines can protect cultural sites and the environment. The response addresses the topic with relevant proposals, including guides educating visitors and penalties for littering. These examples help explain how tourism-related harm might be reduced. However, the discussion focuses mainly on cultural sites and visitor behaviour; the environmental damage mentioned in the prompt receives little separate development. The reasons for stricter rules are also asserted more than explored, and the examples could be explained in greater detail—for instance, how fines would change behaviour or protect local communities. Developing these points more fully and addressing both culture and the environment in a balanced way would strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting solutions, and a conclusion. Each body paragraph has a central focus, and examples generally follow the relevant point. However, progression within sentences is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the first body paragraph, where several ideas are joined in a long sequence. Connectors such as “so that,” “through this,” and “in return” are repeated, making cohesion feel mechanical rather than flexible. Some references, including “these matters” and “this actions,” are not fully clear. Use shorter, more controlled sentences, vary linking expressions, and make pronoun references explicit to improve the flow between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “cultural sites,” “local cultures,” “impose fines,” and “preserve the heritage,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “tourists,” “things,” and “cultural site.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “Tourisum,” “clutures,” “opininon,” and “presurve”—also reduce accuracy and can distract the reader. Some expressions are imprecise or unnatural, for example “what all things are ok” and “more stricter.” Aim for more precise vocabulary and collocations, and proofread spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general words with specific terms such as “visitors,” “conduct,” and “heritage sites” would make the argument clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses with “so that” and “while,” and the main message is usually understandable. Some sentence structures are nevertheless difficult to control. For example, “Tourism contributes heavily to economy around the globe and also is one of the fastest growing sector” has problems with articles, word order, and singular–plural agreement. The long sentence beginning “ex assigning a tourists guide” also combines several clauses without clear sentence boundaries. There are some punctuation and capitalization errors, such as starting sentences with lowercase letters and omitting spaces after full stops. Work on accurate articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, while keeping complex sentences manageable.
