Student answer (Band 5.5)
Tourism has become a major contributer to economic growth worldwide. Although it creates empolyement oppurtunities and generates substatial revenue, its negative effects on local cultures and enviroment are often overlooked. i largely agree that these consequesnces deserve a greater attention as , its economic benefits should not come at the expence of cultural hertitage and enviroment sustainability.
To begin with, Fastest growing in tourism play a vital role to contribute in employemnet as well as help to boost the revenue in thier bussiness. if more individuals visits other countries , this will give profits to the sellers. In addtion, visitors can creates opputunities for those who manage the tourism systems, For instance a unemployement person looking for a job, this can be assits them by increasing in numbers of tourism become a greate source for creating a job for whom could give them services . Thus, this provides benefits to overall economical growth.
On the other hand, when tourits visits outside it affects the local culture and on enviromenal pollution but it often ignored by the governments. Eccessive tourism can wear away the cultural identity of traditional communities . Local people often copy outsider which make the people to stay from thier culture as it also impact on overall enviroment which caused pollution. That is why this issue should not be ignored by the authorities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you largely agree that tourism’s cultural and environmental costs should not be overlooked, while acknowledging its economic benefits. You address both sides and give relevant points about employment, revenue, cultural identity and pollution. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The employment example about an unemployed person is difficult to follow, and the environmental point is asserted rather than explained with a specific consequence or example. The response also does not fully clarify what action would balance tourism and protection beyond saying that governments should act. To strengthen the argument, explain each main effect in more detail and support it with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on economic benefits, a contrasting paragraph on harms, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is less secure. The employment example moves from visitors buying from sellers to tourism-system managers and then to an unemployed person, without clearly connecting these points. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “this” and “it” do not always make clear which idea they refer to. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “economic growth,” “substantial revenue,” “cultural identity,” and “environmental pollution.” These choices show awareness of the subject and help communicate your main position. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors or inaccurate word forms make the writing less clear, for example “contributer,” “empolyement,” “consequesnces,” and “enviroment.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “Fastest growing in tourism” and “boost the revenue in their business.” Aim to learn accurate topic-specific phrases as complete collocations, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully. This will make your ideas easier to understand and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in the opening (“Although it creates…”) and a conditional sentence beginning “if more individuals visits…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “if more individuals visits” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “Tourism are beneficial” does not match the singular subject. The sentence beginning “For instance a unemployment person…” is also incomplete and difficult to parse. Practise building accurate sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses; check agreement, articles and punctuation when editing.
