Tourism is one of the fastest growing industry in the world. It creates job and provide income opportunities to the locals. However uncontrolled tourisms can damage local cultures and environment and that damage is often ignored.

The negative effects on culture include loss of traditions. Due to extensive tourism local cultures and traditions may disappear gradually and foreigner may disrepect the traditions like mocking on them ,ignores culture, dress codes and religious practices. Traditional cultures and festivals may become focused on money only rather than reflecting their cultural norms and values leading to cultural commercialization. Foreigner also influences the locals lifestyles, languages and values, they change their original ones. Extensive tourism leads to overcrowding and tourists may disturb the lives of local residents.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address the question by recognising both tourism’s economic benefits and its potential harm to culture and the environment, and your concluding view—that sustainable tourism is essential—gives the response a relevant overall position. The discussion includes pertinent examples, such as pressure on Hunza and damage to historical sites, and you suggest practical measures including fines and visitor limits. However, the extent of your agreement is not stated clearly at the outset, and the response focuses mainly on listing harms rather than explaining how these are weighed against tourism’s benefits. Some points, such as changes to local lifestyles and climate impacts, are asserted but not developed with specific explanation or evidence. Make your position explicit and extend a smaller number of key ideas with clear examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a broadly coherent sequence: it introduces the issue, discusses cultural effects, moves to environmental effects, gives an example, and ends with solutions and a conclusion. This overall arrangement helps the reader follow the main argument. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, with repeated openings such as “The negative effects” and “The main effect,” and the standalone heading “Negative effects on environment” interrupts the essay’s flow. Some links between ideas are unclear, particularly where the discussion moves from pollution to deforestation and water use. Paragraphing would be more effective if each paragraph had a clear central purpose and the example were integrated into the relevant point. Use varied transitions and clearer references to connect causes, effects, and examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “cultural commercialization,” “overcrowding,” “deforestation,” “marine lives,” and “sustainable tourism.” These choices allow you to discuss both cultural and environmental impacts, and most meaning remains clear. There are, however, some inaccurate or awkward word choices and spelling errors that reduce precision, such as “extensive tourism,” “foreigner,” “cleraded,” and “economical benefits.” Several phrases are also imprecise, including “damage to natural sites also occurs” and “educate tourists about local residents.” Aim for more natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, specify what tourists should learn about local customs, and use established terms such as “environmentally sensitive areas” to express ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures such as “Due to extensive tourism…” and a relative clause in “forests are…to builds hotels and resorts.” The main ideas are generally understandable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “industry…in the world” after “one of,” “It creates job and provide,” “tourist produce,” and “they increases.” Some long sentences also join several ideas without clear punctuation, making relationships harder to follow. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and keeping verb forms consistent, and divide sentences that contain multiple effects. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts clearer.
