Student answer (Band 5.5)

It cannot be denied that tourism is one of the most growing industries right now, its impact on global economy enormously. Despite the economicial growth, it has a lot of negative impacts on local culture as well as the environment, but authority has no concern about that. I firmly agree with that matter.

At present, people are getting more admire about tour than the past. The most common reason is for refreshment, because when anyon feel exhausted by doing their work, for this reasone all want to spend a amount of time with nature. So, the tourism sector is getting more populer among them. Consequently, the tourism sector is contributing on GDP of a cauntry heavily. A reserach has been conducted by Dhaka University that shows the people of bangladesh are visiting more than the past.

However, there are huge negative impacts for increasing this amount. Firstly, the local culture are hampring by the multi cultural people who went to visit. For example, the people who visiting the place those have different culture and when they mix that with the local culture, the culture can be damaged. For instance, suppose the dresses of tourist are diffrent from the inhibitors, but for mixing with them it can be destracted theore traditional dresses.

Besidies, increasing tourist amount that can creat a huge pressure on environment. For this reason, the environment faces a lot of challanges such as deforestation, explore the habitants of species and animals are lossing their habitant.

In conclusion, though increase in tourism sector has some drwbacks, but it outweighs the advanteges. In additon, tourism setor are making a great role on economy .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is stated clearly in the introduction: “I firmly agree,” and you identify relevant concerns about cultural change and environmental pressure. However, the response does not fully develop the task’s central claim that these harms are often ignored. The first body paragraph mainly explains why tourism is growing and contributes to GDP, rather than showing how authorities or businesses overlook its effects. The cultural example about tourists’ clothing is also unclear and needs a more specific explanation of how local traditions are affected. Your conclusion is inconsistent: it says tourism’s drawbacks “outweighs the advantages,” which conflicts with your stated agreement that the damage is ignored. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a relevant, precise example, and keep your position consistent throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for economic growth, cultural effects and environmental effects, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “However,” “Firstly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. At times, though, the progression is mechanical or unclear. The paragraph beginning “At present” focuses on tourism’s popularity and economic contribution, so its connection to the argument about ignored damage is not made explicit. Some references are also difficult to follow, as in “mix that with the local culture” and “for this reason” in the environmental paragraph. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports; ensure the conclusion follows logically from the position in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global economy,” “local culture,” “deforestation,” and “GDP,” and you use some topic-specific terms. However, the range is limited and noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “economicial growth,” “hampring,” “inhibitors” where you appear to mean inhabitants, and “explore the habitants” for the effects on animal habitats. Phrases such as “getting more admire about tour” and “making a great role on economy” are not natural English collocations. Build a bank of accurate expressions for tourism’s benefits and harms, check spelling carefully, and choose words that express the intended meaning precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening with “Despite” and a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “Consequently.” However, the range is limited, and attempts at longer structures often contain errors that make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “its impact on global economy enormously” lacks a complete grammatical structure, while “the local culture are hampring” has problems with agreement and verb formation. In “the people who visiting the place,” the verb form is incomplete, and the final sentence, “tourism setor are making a great role,” has agreement and sentence-pattern problems. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking agreement, articles and verb forms.
