Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays tourism industries are growing fastest and contributes a great deal to economies arund the world. Although, broken tourism can effect to local cultures and the environment. I completely agree with this statement and will give my opinion.

On the one hand, tourism is a greatest part in around the world , every country has their own beauty so that government should protect their countries tourism sector. moreover, tourism has great industry in a country where government had a great amount of money, this money will help the countries economies so that other tourism sectors which had damage or any problem government repair that and suitable for tourist. for instance, in around the world every country had tourist place and tourist came there for visiting that place which is help them to know other culture and people, also the countries earn money from their tourist centers.

On the other hand, damage tourism site are very critical for everyone, if any type of tourist come our country for visit when they would see everything is so damage and their money is loss it can be bad effect for a country ,so that government should don't ignore this kind of place. For example, broken tourist sector could be dengerous for visitors also the local parsons, and it would be a bad reputation for a country.

I believe, good tourism sector is blessing for a country, it helps the countries fastest growing economy and a good reputation n around the world. While, damage tourism sector cause to local culture and reputation in over the world.

To sum up, tourism sector help our country to create a good reputation and economically stablished, so that government should replace that tourism place which are ignored.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and discuss both tourism’s economic benefits and possible harm to tourist sites and local people. However, the response only partially addresses the specific claim that damage to local cultures and the environment is often ignored. Most supporting points focus on damaged tourist places, visitors’ experiences, and a country’s reputation; cultural and environmental effects are not explained with relevant detail. The examples are also general rather than specific, and the conclusion shifts towards repairing or replacing tourism places without clearly restating how far you agree that the harm is ignored. Develop the cultural and environmental impacts directly, then explain why authorities or businesses overlook them and support each point with a clear example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting points, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from tourism’s importance to government income, repairs, and cultural exchange without showing how these points connect to your position. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” are used, but some connections are mechanical or inaccurate; “Although” at the start of the introduction does not lead into a complete contrast. Improve cohesion by giving each paragraph one central claim, ordering its explanation and example logically, and using clear references to connect sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “economies,” “local cultures,” “tourist centers,” and “reputation,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “broken tourism,” “damage tourism site,” and “tourism sector is blessing” are not natural expressions in this context; “damage” is also repeatedly used where a more precise term is needed. Spelling errors such as “arund,” “dengerous,” and “parsons” further reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for impacts on heritage and nature, and check spelling and word forms when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if any type of tourist come … they would see,” and you use basic paragraph-level sentence patterns. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries frequently make the message harder to understand. Examples include “tourism industries are growing fastest and contributes,” “every country has their own beauty,” and “government should don’t ignore.” Several sentences also run together, as in the first body paragraph, where full stops and capital letters are missing. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and conditional forms, and divide long ideas into complete sentences with clear punctuation.
