Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that, tourism is one of the most fastest risingidustries and accounted for the greatest deal of economic growth all around the world. However, tourism can have numerous negative effects on local culture and eco system also usually eveyone avoid this demage. While this trend may bring some benefits, I largely agree withe that idea because tourism can create environmental pollution and demage the local tradition.
There are a number of reasons why tourism can demage the local culture and environment. One possible reason is that envrionment pollution because when any place become a tourists attraction this place face many difficult situation. In fact, people usually visit there by transportation so that can make air pollution and people throw different kinds of plastic that can cause for water and soil pollution. As a result, significantly increase global warming and local people often face different kinds of problems. For example, popular place become more polluted because of tourists activities.
Another significant factor to consider is that demage the local tradition. In other words, tourists may not respect the local tradition and local people may unsatisfied with their culture. Moreover, traditional lifystyle gradually decrease because local people may feel uncomfortable with their own tradition. People may adapt with foreign culture and they feel more confortable with unfamiliar culture. Another negative aspect is that local language totally disappearance because most of the visitors speak another language. Consequently, local people start speaking another language and gradually fall their own language. For instance, traditional languages mau become less popular in the younger generations.
In conlusion, although tourism center can significantly contributes in economic growth and also developing country; howerver, I believe that mass tourists can cause for the demage eco system and local tradition.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you largely agree that tourism’s harms are often overlooked, and you identify environmental pollution and damage to local traditions as your main reasons. These points are relevant and address the question. The pollution paragraph gives a basic cause-and-effect explanation, linking transport and litter to air, water and soil pollution. However, the cultural effects are less fully explained: claims about people feeling uncomfortable with their traditions and languages disappearing would benefit from clearer reasoning or a specific example. The conclusion restates your view and acknowledges economic benefits, but the benefits are not developed in the essay. Develop each main idea more fully and show more precisely how tourism’s damage is ignored to strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs focused on separate harms, and a conclusion. The progression from environmental effects to cultural effects is easy to follow, and signposts such as “One possible reason,” “Moreover,” and “Consequently” help connect points. This organisation is effective, while some linking is mechanical or unclear. For example, “Another significant factor to consider is that damage the local tradition” does not form a clear transition, and “As a result” introduces a consequence without specifying exactly what increases. Some references, such as “this place” and “their culture,” could be more precise. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each consequence explicitly to its cause to make cohesion more flexible and natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “environmental pollution,” “local tradition,” “global warming,” and “traditional languages,” so the reader can understand the main subject and your key points. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision. Examples include “demage,” “envrionment,” “lifystyle,” and “tourists attraction”; phrases such as “greatest deal of economic growth” and “cause for water and soil pollution” are also unnatural. Repetition of “local,” “people,” and “tourism” further limits variety. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise choices would help express the same ideas clearly without relying on repeated or awkward phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional-style explanation beginning “when any place become a tourists attraction” and a contrastive opening with “While.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “tourism center can significantly contributes” combines an incorrect subject–verb form, while “local people may unsatisfied” is missing a verb. In “As a result, significantly increase global warming,” the sentence lacks a clear subject. Practise building complete clauses and checking agreement and verb forms, especially when joining causes and consequences. Accurate simple sentences can provide a reliable base for more complex structures.
