Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both the economic benefits of tourism and its possible harm to culture and the environment, and your conclusion indicates that you see value in both perspectives. However, the position is not consistently clear: you say “I completely agree” with the benefits, then that the statement is “also good to agree on,” before concluding that you choose “both of them.” The task asks how far you agree or disagree with the claim that tourism’s damage is ignored, so make that judgement explicit rather than simply presenting two sides. Your points about jobs, income, language, festivals and natural resources are relevant, but they are mostly listed rather than explained or supported with a specific example. Develop fewer points in more detail and connect them directly to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and drawbacks, and a concluding paragraph, so there is a basic attempt to organise the discussion. The reader can generally identify the two sides. However, progression is difficult to follow because several ideas are crowded into long, loosely connected sentences, and the conclusion repeats the same contrast without resolving it. Connectors such as “on the other hand,” “therefore,” and “overall” are used, but some links are unclear or mechanical; for example, “therefore, i think this statement also good to agree on” does not clearly follow from the preceding point. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain how each example supports it, and use clear references and transitions to guide the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “ecosystem,” “traditional,” “natural resources,” and “develop countries,” and you try to discuss both economic and cultural effects. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “contribute…to commerical,” “full of luxuries life,” “bad affect,” and “local cutlural.” Some intended meanings, such as “exportional got popular,” are unclear. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; for instance, use “contribute to the economy,” “a comfortable life,” and “negative effects.” More precise vocabulary will help you explain your ideas without relying on repeated general terms such as “good” and “develop.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to express connected and contrasting ideas, including with “because,” “when,” and “on the other hand,” but sentence structures are mostly long chains, and errors frequently make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “It can clearly seen,” “people should be start,” and “some people doesn't like tourism”; these show problems with verb forms, auxiliaries, and subject–verb agreement. Articles and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, as in “the tourism” and the opening sentence, which runs several clauses together without clear punctuation. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and appropriate full stops.
