Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, Tourism has been increasingly growing , and contributing great deal to economies around the world. I strongly agree with this ongoing view because these days there has been some damages going on to the local people because of tourists.
One of the major reason of this issue is people from around the world are mostly not aware of other countries rule and regulations which disturbs and can also make people uncomfortable the local people around them. Littering around the streets or spitting in the corners of the world which goes against to their rules. There are also several places which might be not allowed for tourism and only local or tribal people live there. For example, Some people like their alone space witgout and encounter moment with any other person different to them who do not share any similarity even the language and tourist often makes the people living in some alienated or restricted areas uncomfortable by recording them and asking them questions without their permission and it can be disrespectful for them and for their culture and not respecting them and to their wildlife can be a problem to the people.
Another reason which causes damage is that nowadays people really breaks the rule without even knowing and sometimes disturbing the wildlife without knowing. Tourists often try to participate in thier personal activities and try to include themselves among local people and sometimes.
Once i also experinced a moment in south delhi when i was ordering a coffee for myself and suddenly a man appeared right beside me and started recording without my consent and it made me uncmfortable and i had to left that cafe. These moments can really make any local person umcomfortable around tourists.
In conclusion, Tourism can lead damages to local cultures and the enironment is often ignored and this problem to the local cultures and environment can be addressed by learing other countries rules and regulation of the country you are visiting and also learning a basic conversation in their language and asking for their permission.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear position by saying, “I strongly agree,” and discuss relevant harms to local people, cultural practices, and wildlife. The example of a visitor recording you without consent helps illustrate how tourist behaviour can make residents uncomfortable. However, the response only partly develops the task: the economic contribution in the prompt is not weighed against the damage, and the environmental impact is mentioned but not explained with a specific example. Several points about tourists breaking rules or entering restricted places remain general or overlap. To strengthen the response, explain the extent of your agreement more fully, develop distinct cultural and environmental examples, and connect each example directly to the claim that these harms are often ignored.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “One of the major reason” and “Another reason” signal the intended organisation, and the personal anecdote gives one paragraph a concrete focus. However, progression is not consistently clear: the first body paragraph combines rule-breaking, restricted places, recording residents, and wildlife, while the second repeats the idea of disturbing local people and ends with “and sometimes” without completing the thought. Some links are mechanical or unclear, and the conclusion introduces advice rather than clearly summarising the argument. Give each paragraph one main point, order supporting details logically, and use clear references and transitions between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “local cultures,” “wildlife,” “restricted areas,” and “without my consent,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “alienated” and “tribal people.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, sometimes making meaning less clear: “some damages going on,” “alone space,” and “participate in their personal activities” are not natural in this context. Spelling errors such as “experinced,” “uncmfortable,” and “enironment” are noticeable. Build a bank of accurate phrases for tourism impacts and check spelling; for example, use “harm to local communities” and “intrude on residents’ privacy.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “when,” and the reader can generally identify your main point. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries can make the argument difficult to follow. Examples include “people … are mostly not aware … which disturbs,” “people really breaks,” and “I had to left that cafe.” There are also run-on or incomplete constructions, such as the long sentence beginning “For example” and the unfinished “and sometimes.” Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them accurately. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms after modal verbs, and punctuation between independent clauses.
