Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You identify the topic and state a position with “I strongly agree,” and you mention economic benefits and cultural exchange. However, the response does not develop an answer to the central concern: whether tourism’s damage to local cultures and the environment is often ignored. The claim that tourism “boosts world's economy” largely repeats the prompt, and the unfinished phrase “In another words” provides no supporting reason or example. The response therefore addresses the task only minimally, with ideas that are very limited and unsupported. It is also substantially below the required 250 words, leaving most of the argument undeveloped. To improve, explain your position on the harms, support each main point with a specific example, and complete a clear conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening paragraph introduces the topic and position, followed by “To begin with,” to signal a first supporting point. This gives the reader a small amount of direction. However, the second paragraph stops after “In another words,” so there is no completed explanation, progression of ideas, or conclusion. The opening also combines several points in one sentence without showing how the economic benefit relates to the environmental and cultural damage. At this level, the ideas are not arranged coherently enough to form a complete argument. Develop each paragraph around one clear point, use linking expressions to show relationships between ideas, and finish with a concluding paragraph that restates your view.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “tourism,” “world's economy,” “environmental,” and “cultural exchange,” so the subject is generally recognisable. There is also an attempt to use more formal phrasing, such as “There is no denying the fact.” However, the range is narrow and several choices or spellings reduce accuracy: “tourisam” is misspelled, “In another words” is not the correct expression, and “boosts world's economy” is repetitive and awkward. “Local cultural damage” is also imprecise for describing harm to local cultures. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and a wider range of terms for impacts, such as “economic growth,” “cultural heritage,” and “environmental degradation.” Proofreading spelling and phrasing will make your meaning clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt a complex opening sentence using “while,” and the main position is expressed in a complete sentence: “I strongly agree that tourism plays a vital role…” These show some ability to form connected clauses. However, grammatical control is uneven. In “There is no denying the fact that, the tourism contributes,” the comma after “that” is unnecessary and the article before “tourism” is not needed. “In another words” also has an agreement error in the expression, while the final sentence fragment is incomplete and leaves the clause unfinished. The response offers too little evidence of varied, accurately controlled sentence structures. Practise writing complete sentences with clear subject–verb relationships, check articles and punctuation, and use a mix of simple and complex forms.
