Student answer (Band 5.0)
These days many people travel to another country with their families or alone to see and learn the new cultures. Among other industires which help the country to generate large revenue,Travellers around the world also play the important part in the country's economic growth. i completely disagree with this statment and i will proved my point with reason and relevant expamples.
First of all, toursim is the biggest industry and people are travel all the time for bussiness, holidays, visiting relatives etc through out the year. when the foreginers visit the country, they rentout the hotels, buy local goods, visiting famous places, used local currency which help the poor country to grow. Visitor cannot cause or a threat to the local cultrures or belifs of the country, infact they learn and study new cultures of the world.
Another reason why i disagree with this statment is toursim not impact bad affect on the environment or pollutated. The government should create new rules and regulations. Pollution can be avoided by increased usage of environment friendly vehicles for tours and rents, warning and visuals educations on litering and smoking can be very helpful. specific times can be allocated for toursit to certain areas, such as peak hours.
In conclusion, Toursim is the best way to promote new cultures and educate. I believe that visitors have more benefits for poor and under-develop countries to grow. I also believe that local cutrures and the environment get more advantage then damage by

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall disagreement and offer relevant points about tourism bringing income and visitors learning about local cultures. However, the task asks whether damage to cultures and the environment is often ignored, and your response mainly argues that tourism causes no harm rather than addressing whether its harms are overlooked. The environmental paragraph proposes government rules, but does not explain what damage tourism causes or why it may be ignored; the cultural point is also asserted rather than supported with a specific example. The conclusion is unfinished, ending with “get more advantage then damage by”. The response is also three words below the required minimum. Develop both sides of the issue more fully, support claims with a concrete example, and complete the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs introduced by “First of all” and “Another reason”, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify your main position and the two supporting points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from tourism’s popularity to economic benefits and then to culture without explaining the links. Connectors such as “infact” and “Another reason” are used mechanically, and some sentences contain several ideas without clear relationships. The conclusion is incomplete, which weakens the overall sense of closure. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it in a logical sequence, and use linking phrases to show the relationship between ideas rather than simply announce them.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “economic growth”, “local cultures”, “environment”, and “rules and regulations”, so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “industires”, “toursim”, “pollutated”, and “littering” misspelled as “litering”. Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “rentout the hotels”, “used local currency”, and “environment friendly vehicles for tours and rents”. Aim for accurate collocations and a wider range of terms for tourism’s effects, such as “generate income”, “put pressure on local ecosystems”, or “preserve cultural heritage”. Proofreading spelling and choosing precise phrases will make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the response includes some clauses that explain reasons, such as “when the foreginers visit the country…”. However, control is inconsistent, and frequent errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “people are travel all the time” should use a correct present-tense form, while “tourism not impact bad affect” lacks a grammatical verb structure. In “buy local goods, visiting famous places, used local currency”, the list does not maintain parallel verb forms. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are also unreliable. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses, checking that verbs agree and list items follow the same grammatical pattern.
