Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is no denaying the fact that tourism can make economic of the country rise .Despite the fact that touriste could be a bad effect to envirnment and local culture .
To began with ,tourism is one of the largest contributes for economies around the world ,in other words local citizens can make a such profite from touriste who visite the countery even the governement because when touriste came they must exchange the curency with local one and that can make local curency rose in the international exchange market .In addition touriste love spened thier money in holidays to enjoy it, for example they want to try every traditional food in the country where they are also touriste buy some souviners about the place to remamber thier vacance .
In other hand , touriste can cause a dammage or ignored the local cultures that will lead to some grudeg between them and local .Some touriste disrespact the socity value and there maners so this will harm local citizens . like when touriste go to muslim countries they have mentality of thier home but in it is not the same also when they want to enter the mosqe with inpropurate clothes like men with shorts or mini robe for women so they disrepact thier value .
In conculstion , in my view this topic make many countries close thier gate from touriste because they disrespect thier local cultures eventhough the country was making such a good profite from them but they chose thier degenaty over the money .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both the economic benefits of tourism and its potential harm to local culture, and your conclusion makes your preference for protecting cultural identity apparent. The examples about visitors spending money on food and souvenirs, and dressing inappropriately at a mosque, are relevant to the topic. However, the response only partly answers the question about the extent to which you agree: the opening mentions environmental damage, but the essay does not explain or illustrate it, and the conclusion focuses on culture rather than weighing both kinds of harm against economic benefits. Several points, such as currency exchange and cultural disrespect, are asserted briefly rather than developed. State your position directly and support each main reason with clearer explanation and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, with one paragraph focused mainly on economic benefits and another on cultural harm. Connectors such as “To begin with,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the explanation about currency exchange and the international market is not clearly linked to the broader economic benefit, while the cultural example shifts abruptly to mosque clothing. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or repetitive, including “In other hand,” and references such as “they” do not always make clear whether you mean tourists or local people. Organise each paragraph around one clear point and use more precise transitions and references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “economies,” “traditional food,” “souvenirs,” “local cultures,” and “disrespect,” and these choices show an effort to discuss both sides of the issue. However, the usable range is limited, and frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms make parts of the response difficult to read, for example “denaying,” “envirnment,” “profite,” and “degenaty.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “make economic of the country rise” and “largest contributes for economies.” Aim to learn accurate collocations as complete phrases, such as “boost the local economy” and “contribute to economic growth.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise words will make your ideas clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Despite the fact that…” and explanations introduced by “because” and “when.” This shows some effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on short statements. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles, agreement and punctuation can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Despite the fact that tourists could be a bad effect…” is an incomplete sentence, while “when tourists came they must exchange” shifts tense and uses an unclear verb pattern. Several sentences also run together without clear punctuation. Practise building complete sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed supporting clause, then check tense consistency and sentence boundaries.
