Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that tourism can damage both the environment and local culture. The river visit gives a relevant, concrete example of pollution, and you also address cultural change and damage to historical places, so the response covers the main parts of the question. However, these points are not developed equally. The river example is vivid, but the cultural argument—such as people changing traditions for money—and the claim about historical sites are stated briefly without explaining how tourism causes the harm or giving a specific example. To strengthen the response, explain these links and support each main point with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, discussion of environmental and cultural effects, and a conclusion. The shift from pollution to culture is signalled by phrases such as “In addition” and “on the other hand.” However, progression within and between ideas is not consistently clear. The river anecdote takes up much of the environmental discussion, while the later points about culture, government action, and historical places are abrupt and loosely connected. Some linking phrases, including repeated uses of “on the other hand,” do not show the intended relationship clearly. Use separate, focused body paragraphs and connect each claim to its explanation or example; this would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “pollution,” “garbage,” “plastic bottles,” “culture,” and “historical places,” which helps communicate the main concerns. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the meaning less clear. For example, “contributes a great deal of economics” does not express the intended economic benefit, and “river sight” is not the natural term for a place beside a river. Spelling errors such as “enviroment,” “prespective,” and “goverment” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of phrases for tourism’s effects, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including the account of your visit to the river. However, control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “I am totally agree,” “we two friends were decided,” “they did not had,” and “our culture will going to b vanish.” Articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “it is also damage the our local culture” and the long sentence beginning “but when we reached.” Practise forming accurate present and past-tense sentences, then combine ideas with subordinate clauses only when the structure remains clear.
