Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a clear overall view that tourism’s economic and cultural benefits outweigh its harm, and you support this with examples of cultural exchange in Pakistan and spending by visitors. However, the response addresses the prompt only partially: it says little about the environmental damage mentioned in the question, and the claim that cultural damage is “not much worth than its profits” is not explained or balanced with any discussion of possible harm. The economic points about investment and trade are also asserted rather than developed. The response contains 239 words, so it is 11 words below the 250-word minimum; the 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop both the environmental issue and your reasoning, and meet the required length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your position, two body paragraphs give reasons, and a conclusion restates your view. Paragraphs are generally focused, and transitions such as “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help signal the sequence. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the example of a visitor to Pakistan moves quickly from experiencing culture to encouraging others to visit, without explaining how this addresses potential cultural damage. Several ideas are joined in long sentences, and “by that” is repeated, making the links mechanical rather than precise. To improve, organise each paragraph around one claim, explain the connection between its example and your position, and use clearer referencing and varied linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “local cultures,” “traditions,” “foreign currency,” “invest” and “opportunities,” so the reader can follow your main points. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “best” and “by that.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “Tourasim,” “expeience,” “soveniers” and “econmical”—make the writing less clear and reduce control of vocabulary. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “the expedient developed industries” and “make people life more easier.” Build a more accurate set of tourism-related expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise wording would help you explain both benefits and possible cultural or environmental costs.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Moreover” and a conditional-style example about a visitor returning home. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “it also create” should use a verb agreeing with “it,” while “when he returened his home country” needs a clearer grammatical structure. In “When diffrenet communities work togather … the make,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the sentence is difficult to follow. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, particularly in the conclusion. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then connect them with controlled complex structures.
