The graphs below show the percentage of people holding full driving licences in Great Britain by age and sex.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Full car driving licence holders: by sex and age

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The charts represents the ratio of Great Britain citizens who holds the permit to drive the car and as well the age of male and female range from 17 to 70 years old and more. In early 2000's , the number of men carrying the card is noticeably high between the age group of 50 to 69 years old people and it is roughly 80 per cent. The least licence wining group of locals are 17-20 years old and it is about 39 per cent. However, in contrast to women the 80 per cent that get the permission to can run the car are belong to group of middle aged ladies in their 40's. Additionally in late 90's the graph shows the significant difference in both group of sex. In 1975 -76 women are few in counting in holding the licence particularly those that are 70 plus instead the males proportion is relevently high as compared to females.
