Overall, the ownership of driving license increased across almost all age categories for both genders over the 30-year time period. In both year, men consistently recorded higher percentage of license holders in comparison to women. While, women license ownership showed considerably steeper rise.

Whereas, in the year 2006, every age group experienced an upward trend and people between the age of 50-59 and 60-69 surpassed the younger age individual and recorded for more than 80%. Moreover, the citizen with the age of 20 or less had the least amount of license holders in both years respectively.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response effectively identifies the main trends and makes relevant comparisons between the two years and genders. You successfully highlighted the overall increase in license ownership and the gender gap. However, the report could be improved by including more specific data points to support the descriptions, such as the exact percentages for the 20-or-less age group or the 70-79 group in 2006. While the main features are covered, some of the data reporting is slightly vague, which prevents it from reaching the highest band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs focusing on men and women respectively. The progression of ideas is clear. You use cohesive devices such as 'In contrast', 'To begin with', and 'Moreover' to link your points. However, there are minor issues with punctuation and sentence structure, such as the unnecessary space before the colon in the introduction and the awkward use of 'While' at the start of sentences, which slightly disrupts the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'proportion', 'upward trend', and 'surpassed'. There are some minor errors in word choice and form, such as 'license holder' (should be plural 'holders') and 'age individual' (should be 'age group'). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, it lacks the sophistication and precision required for a higher band score. Expanding your range of reporting verbs and adverbs would enhance the quality of your analysis.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical slips, such as 'the proportion male and female' (missing 'of'), 'In both year' (should be 'years'), and 'the citizen with the age of 20' (should be 'citizens aged 20'). Additionally, there are punctuation errors, such as the space before the colon and the comma after 'While'. These errors are frequent but do not impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and pluralization.
