The graphs below show the percentage of people holding full driving licences in Great Britain by age and sex.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Full car driving licence holders: by sex and age

Student answer (Band 5.0)

This bar graph presents the people in great Britain holding driving license by sex and age of two particular years.

In the graph we can find that between men and women, men seems to hold more driver license.

Men in year 2006 seems to hold more license compared to men in year 1975/76. In year 2006 age group of 50-59 holds the highest recorded number of license that is 90%, similarly the lowest recorded data is 38% for age group 17-20. Similarly in year 1975/76 men of age group 30-39 hold highest record that sums up to 82%, and lowest recorded data is between age group of 70.

In case of women in year 2006 40-49 holds highest no of license, and lowest was for year 17-20. for the year 1975/76 women of age group 40-49 holds highest license, and women of age 17-20 holds the lowest number of the license.
